Wedding officials

An extraordinary registrar (babs) plays an important role in the consummation of a marriage or registered partnership. Our dedicated wedding officiants are ready to make your wedding day a special and personal ceremony. 

Selecting Babs

• For a simple ceremony, the municipality assigns an available officiant. 
• If you choose an extended ceremony, please indicate your preference. We will try to plan this for you. If your preference is not available we will contact you.
• You can use your own wedding officiant who does not work for our municipality, provided that he/she performs extended marriages for another municipality on a regular basis. Please read carefully the associated Requirements and additional costs to avoid disappointment.

The team of wedding officiants is diverse and varied in approach, style and experience. They perform both marriages and partnerships for the municipality of Son en Breugel and the municipality of Nuenen, Gerwen and Nederwetten. Below they introduce themselves to you.
