Congratulations on your wedding plans. What fun! 

Language has always had a special place in my life. As a neerlandica I love to play with words and tell your story with a mix of love, humor and an eye for what is important to you. 

During our preliminary consultation, everything is welcome—from personal sensitivities to the most unique ideas. With an open mind, I’m not surprised by anything and seek to uncover the essence of your relationship, so that the ceremony truly belongs to and is for the two of you. 

My babysitting career started in the middle of the country: trained as a wedding officiant in Utrecht, sworn in Amersfoort and working for the municipality of Baarn. A great time, but I missed my Brabant roots. 

I’ve been working as a wedding officiant in Son en Breugel since January 2022. Here, together with “my guys” (Hein and our kids Jochem, Sep, and Tigo), I enjoy the warm, friendly atmosphere of Son. 

In 2026, I became a board member of the Dutch professional association for wedding officiants, where I also get to advocate for our wonderful profession beyond the ceremonies themselves. Because what I love most of all is celebrating love together… in whatever form it takes.
