How do I apply for pupil transportation?
You can arrange your request online at www.sonenbreugel.nl/leerlingenvervoer. Here you can also find Transportation Requirements .
Where can I get help filling out the digital application form?
For this you can visit the computer consultation hour of your municipality., every Wednesday at 16.00 at the Library in Son en Breugel. You can also call the municipality at 0499-491491 if you have questions about the form itself.
I have submitted an application, when will I hear from the municipality?
- After you submit the application, you will immediately receive a confirmation of receipt by email.
- If we need additional documents you will hear from us as soon as possible.
- If we do not require additional documents then you will receive our decision within a maximum of 8 weeks.
How do I know if my application was submitted properly?
After you submit an application, you will see the confirmation on your screen and receive a case number immediately. Your application has then been properly submitted.
I did not receive a confirmation after submitting an application, what should I do?
- Check if the confirmation arrived in the "junk mail" or "spam" folder.
- Not receiving there either? Contact us at sonenbreugel.llv@forseti.nl. Please include your child's first and last name and date of birth.
- If the application is indeed not received by us then resubmit the application.
If I am applying for the first time, what documents should I send along?
- You do not need to send any documents with it.
- Not even if this is requested while filling out the application form.
If we need additional documents, you will automatically receive an e-mail or telephone request to provide them.
If we do not require additional documents then you will automatically receive our decision within a maximum of eight weeks.
My child already has pupil transportation. Do I need to reapply for the upcoming school year?
- Check the end date for pupil transportation in the decision.
- Does the decision have an end date of school year 2024/2025? Then submit a new application using this link.
- If the decision has no or a later end date, you do not need to submit a new application.
If I have previously applied for pupil transportation, do I need to send all the documents again?
- You do not need to send any documents with it.
- Not even if this is requested while filling out the application form.
If we need additional documents, you will automatically receive an e-mail or telephone request to provide them.
If we do not require additional documents then you will automatically receive our decision within a maximum of eight weeks.
My child lives with both me and my ex-partner (co-parenting). Who should submit the application?
- Both parents must apply to the municipality where they live.
- Each parent does so for the days the child stays with them.
- Your child's residency schedule must be clearly described in the application.
What should I do if we move?
- If you are moving within the municipality please submit a new application via this link.
- If you move to another municipality, you must submit an application to that municipality. You inform us via sonenbreugel.llv@forseti.nlaanthat the pupil transport stops.
What should I do if my child goes to another school?
You submit a new application.
What should I do if my child's school moves?
You submit a new application.
What should I do if I want to request another facility for my child?
You will submit a new application. The student transportation department will contact you for additional information if necessary.
What should I do if my child takes an internship?
- You are submitting a new application
- You will submit a fully completed internship contract.
- The internship contract should state what the outflow profile is for your child. This can be employment, school or day care.
What should I do if pupil transportation is no longer needed?
You let us know at sonenbreugel.llv@forseti.nl the date from which pupil transportation is no longer needed.
What should I do if I want to make other changes?
- Submit requests for other structural changes at sonenbreugel.llv@forseti.nl.
- You do this well in advance of the effective date.
- In your request, clearly describe what is changing.
- Indicate clearly when the change, if any, should take effect.
- We assess whether the change is within the pupil transport framework
- Sometimes you may need to provide additional documents
- Sometimes you need to submit a new application.
My child is wheelchair bound during transportation. What should I pay attention to?

It is mandatory to have an ISO-certified wheelchair in order to travel by cab (bus). A certified wheelchair can be identified by the sticker with the hook symbol as shown above this paragraph. Your child may be transported in the wheelchair only if the wheelchair has this sticker.
Does the wheelchair not have this sticker? If so, your child may not be transported and therefore cannot be included in pupil transportation.
