Neighborhood meeting 't Zand natural gas-free on Jan. 31
By 2050 at the latest, all homes in the Netherlands must be off natural gas. In most households today, natural gas is still a natural choice for heating and cooking. But that will change. Not all at once, but step by step. We are going to do this together, with everyone in our municipality.
We were one of the first to approach the residents of the 't Zand neighborhood to join us in drawing up a plan to become natural gas-free. We are using the knowledge and experience gained from this neighborhood to get started in the others as well.
Everyone benefits if the transition is done efficiently, at the right time. We can do this by working together and using each other's knowledge and experiences. To start this, we are organizing a meeting on January 31, 2023 in the Dommelhuis.
- 19.00 - 20.00: walk-in for questions to the municipality and The Energy Office and the Energy Counter. Residents from the rest of Son and Breugel are also welcome.
- 8 p.m. - 9 p.m.: plenary portion specifically for residents of 't Zand.
If you don't live in 't Zand, you can also start saving energy and making it more sustainable. For information and advice you can visit the digital energy desk. Go to https://regionaalenergieloket.nl/son-en-breugel (external link)
