Plan for the Public Offering of (Agricultural) Land in 2027
What is being spent?
The (agricultural) land is located in Son en Breugel.
A maximum of two clusters will be awarded to a single interested party, except in cases where there are no other interested parties for a particular cluster.
The minimum lease price is €500 per hectare.
How are the plots of land allocated?
The land is being offered through a public selection process.
Who is eligible?
An agricultural entrepreneur who is registered as such in the Chamber of Commerce’s commercial register is eligible to register clusters larger than 1 ha. For clusters of up to and including 1 hectare, other legal entities and/or individuals are also eligible.
For what period is the lease?
The liberalized lease is granted for a term of 1 year. The agreement takes effect on January 1, 2027, and ends on December 31, 2027.
What are the selection criteria?
The municipality values sound agricultural practices and sustainable land use. To ensure that leasehold land is not allocated solely on the basis of the highest lease price, points are awarded during the allocation process for the following criteria:
eco-activities;
lease price;
certificates;
distance to the leased parcel.
Schedule for the Selection Process
The proposed clusters, the selection document, and additional information will be available starting November 9, 2026, under“Documents” on P8portaal (https://p8portaal.nl/). From November 9 through November 16, 2026, questions regarding the selection process may be submitted in accordance with the procedures outlined in the selection document.

The parcels of land offered by the municipality of Son en Breugel are designated as cluster SB in P8portaal. The first cluster is designated as SB-a.2027 and the second as SB-b.2027, and so on.
