Requirements to be allowed to vote
- You are 18 years of age or older;
- You have the Dutch nationality;
- You are not excluded from the right to vote.
Required to vote: the voting card
In order to vote on Wednesday, October 29, for the elections to the House of Representatives, you need a voting pass. You will receive your personal voting pass by mail no later than October 15.
With your voting pass you can vote at any polling station in Son en Breugel if you show a valid ID. This proof of identity can be either a passport or an identity card and must not have expired more than 5 years ago.
Note: Are you moving to another municipality prior to the election? Then you may still have to vote in Son en Breugel. The address where you are officially registered on September 15, 2025 (the day of the nomination of candidates) determines where you may vote. You will also receive your voting pass at this address.
Lost voting pass
Did you not receive a voting pass or did you lose your pass? Then you can apply for it digitally until Friday, October 24. You will need DigiD to do this.
Submit your request via the green button ('apply for voting pass'). A new voting pass will then be sent to your home by mail.
This cancels your previous voting pass. Thus, you can only cast a vote with your latest voting card.
Request replacement voting pass at the front desk
Do you prefer to apply for your voting pass at City Hall? You can do so until Tuesday, October 28, 12:00 noon at the counter in the central hall. This is possible Monday through Friday between 08:30 - 12:30 and Wednesday afternoon between 14:30 - 19:00. Don't forget to bring valid identification.
