Candidacy for municipal elections on March 18, 2026

In Son en Breugel, six parties have submitted a list of candidates who will be standing for election in the 2026 municipal elections. 

The order below is the order of arrival and does not indicate the final list numbers.

Determining candidate lists and numbering 

  • Monday, February 2, 2026: nomination day (nationwide)
    On this day, political parties submitted their candidate lists and accompanying documents to the Central Electoral Committee of the municipality (the CSB). 
     

  • Tuesday, February 3, 2026: closed session of the Central Electoral Committee
    Verification of the submitted documents by the CEC. Minutes of this meeting have been drawn up (available online).  

  • Friday, February 6, 2026: public hearing of the Central Electoral Committee
    During this hearing, the candidate lists and corresponding numbering were officially determined (official report Model I-4).
