Implementation of the Green Zone project Insulation stops, collaboration continues

In Southeast Brabant, 19 municipalities, including Son en Breugel, are working together within De Groene Zone Isoleren (The Green Zone Insulation) to help residents insulate their homes. To implement the project, they collaborated with implementation partner Winst uit je woning (Profit from your home). This method of implementation has been discontinued due to the bankruptcy of Winst uit je woning. The collaborating municipalities are working hard to find an alternative for supporting insulation work as soon as possible.

Due to the bankruptcy of Winst uit je woning, the project had already been temporarily suspended. In recent months, various options have been explored to continue the project. After several discussions, the 19 participating municipalities jointly decided to discontinue the project in its current form. 
 

Continuation of collaboration with De Groene Zone Isoleren

The municipalities want to continue working toward achieving local and regional insulation targets as quickly as possible and helping residents make their homes more sustainable. Although De Groene Zone Isoleren cannot continue in its current form, the collaboration between the municipalities will continue. In the coming period, the municipalities will jointly investigate where they can best join forces and how we can efficiently help residents with their insulation tasks.
