Invitation to national commemoration Son and Breugel

We cordially invite you to participate in the National Commemoration in Son en Breugel.

During the National Commemoration, we remember all those - civilians and military - who were killed or murdered in the Kingdom of the Netherlands or anywhere else in the world; both during World War II and the colonial war in Indonesia, and in war situations and peacekeeping operations thereafter.

The commemoration is also a moment of reflection on present and future. A moment to reflect on the vulnerability of our democratic society.
We find it of great importance that the ceremony is supported by as many residents of all ages as possible.

The Harmony, the St. Catherine Guild, the scouting groups, the churches in Son and Breugel, the Youth City Council and the Veterans Son and Breugel traditionally have a task on this day.

This year, Mayor Suzanne Otters-Bruijnen will give a speech and Jesse Engelhart will give a talk.
