Are you 18 years old or older and have no or too little money to make ends meet? Then you can apply for a Social assistance benefit .

Assistance for the self-employed

If your business is having temporary financial difficulties, you can apply for self-employment assistance.

Applying for benefits at the UWV

WW benefit

Will you become unemployed soon? Then you can apply for WW benefits at UWV.

Disability benefit

Are you sick for a longer period of time and unable to work or work partially? Then you may be able to get disability benefits from UWV.

Wajong

Did you contract an illness or disability at a young age? And as a result, are you unable to work now or in the future? If so, you may be able to receive Wajong benefit from UWV.

If you can work now or in the future, you will not get Wajong. You can apply for Social assistance benefit 4 weeks before you turn 18.

Requesting a supplement from SVB

AIO supplement (assistance for the elderly).

You do not have full AOW? Or do you have full AOW and a partner who does not yet have AOW? If you have little or no other income, you may be able to get the AIO supplement from the SVB.
