Status of new events policy

We are working on a new events policy. Our aim is to ensure that future events are even better aligned with the wishes and needs of our residents, and that they are organized in a proper, safe, and sustainable manner. 

Participation

In order to draw up a new events policy, a participation process was carried out. We organized an evening for organizers and entrepreneurs and conducted a resident survey. In addition, we conducted interviews with (municipal) specialists, including the Safety Region, the police, and policy advisors on economics and tourism, sports, social affairs, sustainability, communication, public space, and traffic.

We are now going to start writing the new events policy. We expect the new events policy to be adopted by the Municipal Executive in early 2026.
