Special trunk rate Recycling center for small amounts of waste
Residents who wish to dispose of a small amount of waste at the recycling center can make use of the trunk rate from January 1, 2026. This is a reduced rate for those who dispose of a small amount of waste, up to a maximum of 0.5 m³.
Which waste streams are subject to the trunk rate?
The trunk rate applies to the following waste streams:
- bulky household waste €8.50
- renovation waste (contaminated rubble) €8.50
- clean debris €4.50
- roofing felt €4.50
- plaster € 4.50
- clean soil €4.50
- wood waste AB quality €4.50
- wood waste C quality €4.50
- carpet €4.50
Please note: the reduced rate only applies when the quantity offered does not exceed 0.5 m³.
How it works
- You take your waste to the recycling center, separated into different categories.
- The employee assesses the amount of waste.
- For up to 0.5 m³, you pay the trunk rate instead of the regular rate.
For larger quantities, the regular rate applies.
Why a trunk rate?
With the trunk rate, the municipality wants to encourage residents to separate and dispose of small amounts of waste correctly, without incurring high costs.
