Speed displays
We currently have 5 speed displays in use. This allows us to measure how fast people are driving in different places at the same time.
In October, speed displays will be on the following streets:
- Asteroid Avenue
- Bee Avenue
- End
- Ekkersrijt 2000
- Ekkersrijt 4000
Road users can see how fast people are driving. We hope this leads to safer traffic behavior. Results of the measurements give us insight into how fast people drive at a location. Then, if necessary, we can take measures to improve traffic safety. Each month we deploy the displays at different locations.
