Many parents find it difficult to discuss these issues with their children. Yet this is of great importance. Young people often include their parents' opinions in their consideration of whether or not to use. 

Therefore, SKIP calls on parents and educators to start the conversation about drug use with their adolescent(s). During the Week of Parenting, this message is given extra attention.
