School social work
The school social worker works for Lumens. She visits the schools, has contact with the staff of the schools and can engage in conversation with parents and children. This happens either at the schools or at the CMD. Through your child's school you can get in touch with the school social worker. You can also call the CMD and ask for contact.
The school social worker can:
- thinking along in situations
- Provide short-term support such as talks and advice
- be at a meeting at school
- engaging with your child with your permission
- observe in the classroom
The school social worker can help you, your child and school find appropriate help, either at school or at home.
