Council agenda 2022 - 2026
The council sets the council agenda for 2022–2026.
All parties want to give more space to council-wide debate and to more guidance on the topics by the council. The council agenda is an overview of the most important themes and topics that have been collected from all parties and that the council wants to focus on during this period.
Administrative Agreement 2022–2026
The council adopts the 2022–2026 administrative agreement and requests the municipal executive to draw up a municipal program based on this agreement.
The administrative agreement contains further agreements on a number of topics from the council agenda. These further agreements were made by the DorpsVisie, CDA, PvdA/GroenLinks, D66, and Dorpsbelang political parties. The agreements form the basis for achieving results during this council term. The administrative agreement also instructs the new council to draw up a council program for discussion with the council, including a schedule and an assessment of the feasibility of each topic for the next four years.
Appointment of credentials committee for aldermen and new council members
The council decides to appoint as members of the credentials committee:
- Mr. Maarten van Beek
- Mr. Don Pasanea
- Mr. Flip Verhagen
Before appointing aldermen and new council members, the credentials committee examines whether all requirements for aldermanship or council membership have been met.
Nomination of aldermen, investigation and reporting by the credentials committee, appointment and swearing-in of aldermen
The council appoints the nominated candidates as Alderman:
- Mr. Jan Boersma with a time allocation standard of 0.95 FTE;
- Mr. Jelle de Jong with a time allocation standard of 0.95 FTE;
- Mr. Steven Grevink with a time allocation standard of 1 FTE.
The new aldermen were then sworn in.
Examination of credentials, admission, and swearing-in of new council members
The board decides to admit the following to the board:
- Mr. Jos de Bruin
- Mr. Giel van Beers
The new council members were then sworn in.
Appointment of Audit Committee member
Mr. Joris van Dam is stepping down as a member of the Audit Committee. The council has decided to appoint Mr. Marnix Thunnissen as a member of the Son en Breugel Audit Committee.
Appointment of deputy member of the General Board of the Eindhoven Metropolitan Region
The council decides to appoint Mr. Jan Boersma as a substitute member of the General Board of the Eindhoven Metropolitan Region.
Appointment of one member and two alternate members to the WSD General Board
The council decides:
- to appoint Mr. Steven Grevink as a member of the WSD General Board;
- To appoint Mr. Jan Boersma and Mr. Giel van Beers as alternate members of the WSD General Board.
