Appointment of citizen members of city council
The council appointed the following as citizen members of the City Council:
- On behalf of the DorpsVISIE group: Mr. Theo Groenemans
- On behalf of the CDA group: Mr. Albert Vink, Mr. Giel van Beers and Mr. Gert Jan van Steenhoven
- On behalf of the VVD Group: Mr. Marco Pulles
- On behalf of the PvdA/GroenLinks group: Mr. Willem Buurke, Mr. Yoram Peek and Mr. Steven Grevink
- On behalf of the VOOR U! group: Mr. Riny van Eerd, Ms. Susan Jacobs, Mr. Stephen Philippi and Mr. Marnix Thunnissen
- On behalf of the group Dorpsbelang: Ms. Elly Brocken, Mr. Jan Frans Brouwers and Mr. Daan van der Donk
- On behalf of the D66 group: Mr. Ruud Sanders
For the new council term, the group chairs of Village Vision, CDA, VVD, PvdA/GreenLeft, FOR YOU!, Village Interest and D66 have nominated these individuals for appointment as civic members.
Wolfswinkel cemetery, expansion with crematorium
The council agrees to enter into cooperation with Respectrum Crematoria B.V. to build a small-scale crematorium and take over the Wolfswinkel cemetery and funeral home.
