Preparation credit Breugel Bruist - renovation of De Boerderij

The council has made €50,000 available for the preparation of the renovation of De Boerderij. In 2015, a preparatory credit of €75,000 was made available for the Breugel Bruist! project (preparation of Breugel, De Bongerd, De Boerderij, and the village square). This preparatory credit is not expected to be sufficient to cover the costs of preparing for the renovation. The renovation will start in mid-2020.

Recommendation for designation of local public media institution

The municipal council recommends that the Media Authority (CVDM) designate the Son en Breugel Local Broadcasting Foundation as the municipality's local public media institution for a period of five years, starting on February 17, 2020.

Opinion Course WSD

The council takes note of the memorandum "Joint further development," advice on the future course of the WSD, and gives its opinion on the advice. The WSD is requested to make funds available for 2020 as well in order to implement the local municipal plans. The municipality is working with the WSD to implement the Participation Act.

Advice Audit Committee

The council agrees with the Audit Committee's advice on the letter (dated December 19, 2019) from the province regarding the 2020 Budget. The council requests the college to come up with a proposal regarding the province's request to flesh out the targets set out in the framework memorandum and to take measures to ensure a structurally balanced budget for at least the years 2023 and 2024.
