Reallocate nature reserves for the purpose of nature development

The council decides to establish the appropriated reserve ''Nature and Landscape'' and decides to deposit an amount of € 217,500.- in the appropriated reserve ''Nature and Landscape''
The council simultaneously decides to dissolve the earmarked reserve ''Nature compensation'' (€ 150,000.-) and ''Recreation and Nature Area west'' (€ 84,000.-) and to deposit the remaining amount in the new earmarked reserve ''Nature and Landscape''.
In addition, the council resolves for the benefit of

  1. the realization of the Ecological Connection Zone Ekkersrijt a credit of € 349,500;
  2. make available a credit of €3,010,000 for the Dommel Valley from the Paint 2.0 project.

The council empowers the college to be able to charge the expenses for the book loss to the reserve Nature and Landscape and to account to the council afterwards.
Finally, the council decides to include a structural amount of € 4,390, - for the management and maintenance of nature.

Son and Breugel Debt Assistance Regulation 2021

The Council decides to adopt the Son en Breugel Debt Assistance Ordinance 2021. The Municipal Debt Relief Act (WGS) regulates that residents with problematic debts can approach municipalities for advice, debt mediation or a rehabilitation loan, among other things. The basic principle is that debt assistance is widely accessible, whereby it is clear to the resident within what period of time after the first conversation about the request for help it is decided whether that person is eligible for a debt settlement.

Adjustments Regional Development Fund Working Locations (ROW).

The council decides

  1. To repeal the Grant Ordinance Investments Regional Development Fund Work Locations SGE, as adopted by council decision of December 21, 2017;
  2. To adopt the Grant Ordinance Investments Regional Development Fund Work Locations SGE 2021,;
  3. Delegate to the ROW Foundation the authority to make a decision on a grant application;
  4. To take note of a modified design of the governance of the ROW.

Scenario choice sports hall De Bongerd - Breugel

The council chooses to build a new sports hall that increases the surface area for sports from 2 to 3 hall sections (scenario 2). The council decides that alternatives will also be considered for the housing of Refugee Council and IVN, and that consultations will be held with Korein about realizing child care in the new building. The council agrees with the proposed schedule.

Application for replenishment allowance IJssellaan bomb scheme

The council decides to set the actual costs in respect of the explosives survey for the 'IJssellaan' project (2020) at € 29,942.04 excluding VAT and to apply to the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations for a supplementary payment from the Municipal Fund of € 20,959.43. (70% of € 29,942.04 excluding VAT).

Eindhoven Metropolitan Area Annual Program 2021

The council decides to take note of the 2021 Annual Program of the Eindhoven Metropolitan Area and to submit a view on the 2021 Annual Program of the Eindhoven Metropolitan Area.

Appointment of members chairman's pool trial new council meeting structure

On the recommendation of the Presidium, the council appointed council members Theo Groenemans, Marianne van der Putte-Verhoeven and Peer Spooren and the (plv.) citizen members of council committees Martien Merks, Giel van Beers, Maarten van Beek, Jan Frans Brouwers and José Goossens-Junier as members of the chairperson's group Political Evenings Son en Breugel.

The council shall set the compensation for work for chairpersons who are not council members, per meeting, at the amount determined by the Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Relations for attending a committee meeting.

Regulation trust committee reappointment mayor 2021 and appointment (deputy) chairman and members

The council adopts the Regulation on the Committee on Confidentiality for Reappointment of Mayor 2021 and appoints as members of the Committee on Confidentiality the group chairmen Elly Brocken, Joris van Dam, Helga Helders, Jelle de Jong, Camille Limpens, Kees Vortman and Monique van Zwieten. The council appointed from the members of the trust committee Jelle de Jong as chairman and Elly Brocken as deputy chairman.

Motion play/climb forest c.q. adventure trail

The council urges the college to:

  • Investigate the possibility of creating a play/climb forest and/or adventure trail;
  • Explicitly involve the target youth group in the further development of this;
  • To cover the realization of a play/ climbing forest c.q. adventure trail and the resulting costs from the budget for the already planned playgrounds and/or the free spending reserve;
  • To put the outcome of the study on the agenda for the Territory Affairs Committee for information, including the method of coverage.

Motion local social mediator

The council requests that the college:

  • To create and appoint a local social mediator aimed at resolving, through mediation, complaints and objections relating to the implementation and enforcement of arrangements in the social domain, taking the following points as a starting point:
  1. This local social mediator is independent, yet familiar with our municipality and region and is locally and personally approachable to residents and municipality with requests for mediation;
  2. This mediation is expressly aimed at achieving a merciful solution for all parties;
  3. This mediation can be invoked by both residents and city council.
  • Continue to inform residents about this and refer them if necessary.
  • By April 2021, to present to the council a further elaboration including a funding proposal for the costs.

Motion of disgust and appreciation

The council decides to pronounce:

  • His disgust, bewilderment and general disapproval of the recent violence;
  • To be proud of and have deep respect for the residents and business owners who, despite the now long duration, continue to cooperate in working together to quell the corona virus;
  • Heartfelt thanks to the police and other enforcers for their much appreciated relentless efforts, often under difficult circumstances, in the interest of a safe environment for all;
  • Where possible and reasonable to want to contribute, for example in a supportive sense, to local initiatives aimed at alleviating the negative effects of the corona crisis and corona measures.
