Appointment of deputy member of General Board WSD 

The council appointed council member Albert-Jan Pomper as an alternate member of the General Board (AB) WSD.

Due to the departure of council member Peter van Dam, a new alternate member for the AB WSD must be appointed from the council.

Appointment session chairman Political Evenings 

The council appointed citizen member Bas Henrichs as session chairman for the Son and Breugel Political Evenings.

Staffing in the chairman's pool is quite tight. Replenishment of the chairperson pool is therefore welcome.

Establish spending council groups 2024 

The council notes:

  1. spending by group over 2024;
  2. the refundable reserve by group;
  3. the remaining reserve by group as of Jan. 1, 2025.

The Official Assistance and Group Support Regulation 2023 stipulates that the groups receive an annual financial contribution to cover the costs of the functioning of the group, consisting of a fixed amount per group. For 2024, this amount was €1,500 per group. Each group reports in writing to the council on the use of the contribution for group support.

Policy framework 'Together Son and Breugel' and Ordinance on involvement and challenge right municipality of Son and Breugel 2025 

The council decides to adopt:

  1. the viewpoint note;
  2. The "Together Son and Breugel" policy framework;
  3. The Ordinance on Involvement and Challenge Right Municipality of Son and Breugel 2025. 

We want to increase the involvement of residents in the policies of the municipality. In the administrative agreement it was agreed to make clear what citizen participation means and to draw up an ordinance. The goal is to establish frameworks that make it clear to everyone who has influence on the development, implementation and evaluation of policy and at what time.

Amendment adopted zoning plan "Son Zuid; Boslaan 63"

The council resolves to adopt the zoning plan "Son Zuid; Boslaan 63", with plan identification NL.IMRO.0848.BP107SONZUID-VA02", as amended by amending the definition of "Level" in Article 1.29 of the plan rules as follows: 

  • for (main) buildings at the location of the indication 'detached', the ground level + 0.1 m. 'Ground level' means the average height of the adjoining finished terrain;
  • for (main) buildings at the location of the designation 'stacked', the top of the finished floor, being NAP + 16.82 m. 'The top of the finished floor' means: the top layer of the (first floor) floor that is visible after finishing, such as a parquet floor, a tile floor or a carpet.

1st amendment to general local ordinance municipality of Son and Breugel 2024

The council decides to adopt the1st Amendment to the General Local Bye-Law of the Municipality of Son en Breugel 2024 (APV).

The rules contained in the APV on closing and pouring times at paracommercial legal entities have been amended.

2nd Amendment to General Local Government Ordinance Municipality of Son en Breugel 2024 - permit system Extended private connection 

The council decides to adopt the2nd Amendment to the General Local Bye-Law of the Municipality of Son en Breugel 2024 (APV).

The amendment allows for permits for extended private connections, so we can provide more accessible charging options for residents who do not have their own driveway or garage

Authorization to establish Joint Arrangement (GR) Youth Region One 10 

The council decides 

  1. To take note of the views expressed on the draft GR;
  2. To take note of the conclusions drawn from the views;
  3. Authorize the College to enter into the Joint Arrangement Youth Region One 10 for Youth;
  4. Express a view towards the college on the Draft 2026 Budget of the GR Youth Region A 10 for Youth, with the understanding that(amendment):
  • in the2nd paragraph of the view letter, the passage "In the draft budget it can also be read [...] for specialized youth assistance." is dropped.
  • add the following text in the letter of views as a new3rd paragraph:
    "We note that the municipality is joining a new joint arrangement in which little will change in terms of content, but the municipality will incur additional costs. This while the first real evaluation is not scheduled until 2029. That is why we ask you to draw up clear and concrete objectives and review agreements in advance before the GR 10 for Youth comes into force on January 1, 2026, in order to be able to review annually the improvements and efficiency that the joint arrangement 10 for Youth entails."

Credit request for location Nieuwstraat 45 and 47 in Son en Breugel 

The council decides:

  1. To provide a credit of €4,357,000 for the purchase and maintenance of location Nieuwstraat 45 and 47 in Son en Breugel;
  2. incorporate the financial implications for 2025 and beyond into the 8th Budget Amendment 2025.

We have had the opportunity to purchase a picture-perfect real estate property: the former hotel complex, including gardens, located in a prominent location, located at 45 and 47 rue Neuve (La Sonnerie). It is potentially suitable for redevelopment.
