Establishment of a Credentials Committee for Aldermen and Council Members

The council establishes a credentials committee to review the eligibility of the candidates for alderman and the credentials of the incoming council members. The council appoints the following members: Collinda Verhoeve, Martien Merks, and Willie Horden.

Appointment and swearing-in of aldermen for the 2026–2030 term

Following a recess and the subsequent report from the Credentials Committee, the council appoints Jelle de Jong, Mireille Bonnier, and Steven Grevink as Alderman the municipality of Son en Breugel, all with a full-time workload (1 FTE).

The new aldermen will then be sworn in.

The City Council bids farewell to Alderman Boersma 

New council members

With the appointment of three council members as aldermen, their council membership automatically expires, leaving vacant council seats. These seats will be filled by Jos de Bruin (Dorpsvisie), Jan Boersma (CDA, party leader), and Albert-Jan Pomper (PRO).

Following the report from the credentials committee, the council admits them as members of the council. The new council members are then sworn in.
