Rules of procedure city council 2025 

The council adopts the "Rules of Procedure of the Son en Breugel City Council 2025".

In September 2024 the meeting structure and working method of the City Council was evaluated and some adjustments were made. In January 2025, those adjustments were evaluated and it was concluded that they could be permanently introduced. Current developments have also been incorporated into the new regulations, for example, the working method around incoming documents and the way the council is informed about the status of outstanding motions.

Draft Regional Risk Profile 2025-2028 VRBZO

The council decides not to submit an opinion on the draft Regional Risk Profile (RRP) 2025-2028 Security Region Brabant-Zuidoost and to inform VRBZO accordingly.

Based on the Security Regions Act (Wvr), every security region is required to prepare an RRP. The RRP is an inventory and analysis of the risks present in a security region, including relevant risks from neighboring areas.

Cultural policy municipality of Son and Breugel 2025-2030 

The council adopts the cultural policy 2025-2030 "Culture is the fuel for good living together."

We are committed to culture in the coming years based on the vision: "Son en Breugel goes for culture and heritage where connection, inspiration, positive health and fun are central and where as many residents as possible are given the opportunity to participate in culture and to experience heritage."
The most important spearhead in the cultural policy 2025-2030 is the attention and commitment to the connection between culture and positive health.

Change multi-year estimate as part of new construction for rehousing Blink 

The council decides to submit a view on the amended multi-year budget Joint arrangement (GR) Blink in the context of new construction.

The current cooperation with PreZero will be terminated and PreZero will leave the GR Blink. It is agreed that Blink can continue to use PreZero's office until December 31, 2025. As of January 1, 2026, Blink must have other housing.

Views on draft 1st amendment budget 2025 VRBZO 

The council decides(amendment):

1. To submit a view on the 1st draft budget amendment 2025 Security Region Brabant-Zuidoost and inform VRBZO accordingly(view letter amended)
2. To request the Municipal Clerk’s Office Office to send a copy of the view letter to the municipal councils of the municipalities within VRBZO as soon as possible.
3. To include the financial implications for the 1st draft budget amendment 2025 VRBZO in the 1st administrative report 2025 of our municipality. 

By submitting an opinion, the council has the opportunity to influence the (financial) policy of VRBZO.

Area vision Sonnius neighborhood

The council decides to adopt the area vision Sonniuswijk, including the following adjustments to the table "Opportunities for primary agricultural activity" on page 87 (amendment):

• In the "Possible" column and the "Agricultural Businesses" line, the text should read "Existing intensive livestock farming, provided it is sustainable.
• In the "Undesirable" column and the "Agricultural Farms" line, the text should read "New intensive livestock farms".

It is a vision for (future) residents, owners and users of Sonnius neighborhood, providing a clear direction for the future of the area.
