Participation of Metropolitan Region Eindhoven in Stichting Bureau Inkoop en Aanbestedingen Zuidoost-Brabant

The council decides not to express wishes and objections to the General Board of the Eindhoven Metropolitan Region, on the proposed participation of the Eindhoven Metropolitan Region in Stichting Bureau Inkoop en Aanbestedingen Zuidoost Brabant.

Public green space policy paper 2021

The council adopts the Public Green Space 2021 policy document and agrees on the financial implications. The council also sets the boundary of the built-up area in relation to the Nature Protection Act.

The council adopts the Waste Materials Ordinance Municipality of Son and Breugel 2021.

Subject to the consent of the municipal councils within the Blink Joint Arrangement, the council authorizes the College of Mayor and Aldermen to join the Blink Joint Arrangement.

Educational housing for elementary school Rainbow/Crown Corner and Space/Blok Temple including Korein childcare center

The council agrees to build new construction and expansion for educational housing on the site of De Bloktempel elementary school as well as on the site of De Ruimte elementary school.

The council agrees to provide the necessary credit of €2,139,172 broken down into:

  • € 227,576 additional appropriation for the Rainbow/Crommenhoek due to adjustment to the standard amounts.
  • €7,752 for demolition assistance at Rainbow/Crommen's Corner.
  • € 146,434 for the temporary housing of elementary school the Rainbow and the Krommen Hoek.
  • €590,341 for the expansion of the Space Block Temple.
  • € 647,613 for the construction of the extension child day care at the Bloktempel and Space.
  • € 519,456 for the realization of expansion of an additional multipurpose room for dual use of education and BSO at the Bloktempel and Space.

Integration Regulation Son and Breugel 2022

The Council decides to adopt the Regulation on Integration Son and Breugel 2022.

Effective Jan. 1, 2022, the new Integration Act will be introduced and

the municipality is responsible for the entire integration process of permit holders.

Adopt Regional Energy Strategy 1.0

The council adopts the Regional Energy Strategy 1.0 Eindhoven Metropolitan Region.

Motion Airport

The council requests that the college:

  1. Maps the council's concerns regarding the welfare of the residents of Son and Breugel with the Luchtvaart Eindhoven Overleg (LEO) and to urge compliance with all agreements mentioned in the advice of Pieter van Geel;
  2. To submit this motion for information to the other municipalities, which were in any way involved in the creation of the Van Geel opinion, as well as to the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management and the Environmental and Transport Inspectorate.
