Appointment credentials committee new council member

The resignation of Joris van Dam means that a new council member must be appointed. Before being admitted to the council, it must be examined whether the appointee meets all the requirements for council membership.

Frans Meulenbroeks, Giel van Beers and Helga Helders were appointed members of the credentials committee.

Memorandum policy framework social domain 2023-2026

The council adopts the Social Domain Policy Framework 2023 - 2026.
The new Social Domain Policy Framework 2023-2026 is a vision document, which gives direction to the vision and ambitions in the Social Domain in outline, substantive and organizational terms. Once finalized, a Social Domain policy framework is a guide for governance, policy and implementation.

Viewing procedure Joint Regulation WSD Annual Account 2022 and Budget 2024 and multi-year budget 2025-2027

The council decides not to submit an opinion on the WSD annual accounts and budget 2024.
Every year the Werkvoorzieningschap de Dommel (WSD) makes the financial documents available under the WSD Joint Scheme. This offers the councils of the participating municipalities the opportunity to express their views on the annual accounts and budget.

Draft budget 2024, 1st budget amendment 2023 and annual report 2022 GGD Brabant-Zuidoost

The council decides not to submit an opinion on the draft program budget and the1st budget amendment 2023. The council takes note of the Annual Report 2022 GGD Brabant-Zuidoost. The council agrees to process the financial consequences of the Draft Program Budget 2024 in the Framework Memorandum 2024-2027 and to process the financial consequences of the 1st budget amendment in the 1st administrative report 2023.

Municipalities have a legal responsibility to achieve good quality and accessible public health care for its citizens (Public Health Care Act. The municipality pays a population contribution to the GGD to guarantee public health care. It is therefore natural that municipalities have a say in the budget and budget amendments.

Views draft work program 2023/2024 and draft budget 2024 Eindhoven Metropolitan Region

The council decides to take note of:

  • the offer letter draft budget 2024 and draft work program 2023-2024 Eindhoven Metropolitan Region;
  • The draft 2024 budget for the Eindhoven Metropolitan Region;
  • The draft 2023-2024 Metropolitan Region of Eindhoven work program.

The council decides to submit an opinion on the draft work program 2023-2024 and the draft budget 2024 of the Eindhoven Metropolitan Region. The council agrees to incorporate the financial consequences of the draft 2024 MRE budget in the 2024 - 2027 multi-year budget of our municipality.

Every year, the Eindhoven Metropolitan Region (MRE) makes the financial documents available under the MRE Joint Arrangement and offers the opportunity to submit views.

Multi-year budget 2024-2027 and 1st budget amendment of Dommelvallei Service

The council decides to take note of:

  • Multi-year budget 2024-2027 Service Dommelvallei;
  • 1st budget amendment 2023 Dommelvallei Service.

The council decides not to submit an opinion on the 2024-2027 multi-year budget and1st budget amendment 2023. The council agrees to process the financial consequences for the municipality of Son and Breugel in the1st administrative report 2023, framework memorandum 2024-2027 and ultimately in the multi-year budget 2024-2027.

Annually, pursuant to the Common Regulation Dommelvallei Service makes the financial documents available and offers the opportunity to submit a view.

Draft revised budget ODZOB 2023, draft budget 2024 and multi-year estimate 2025 - 2027

The council decides to take note of:

  • The draft revised budget ODZOB 2023;
  • The draft 2024 budget and multi-year estimate 2025 - 2027.

The council decides not to submit a view and agrees to incorporate the cost to the municipality in the 2024-2027 budget.

Annually, pursuant to the Joint Regulation ODZOB makes the financial documents available and offers the opportunity to submit a view.

Brabant-Zuidoost Safety Region participation in Safety Regions Guarantee Fund Foundation

The council decides not to express wishes and objections to the General Board of Veiligheidsregio Brabant-Zuidoost on the draft decision to participate in the Stichting Waarborgfonds Veiligheidsregio's.

On October 12, 2022, the Risk Management Foundation was established. With this, the safety regions have a joint risk management expertise office with which they can collectively purchase accident insurance and which can support the settlement of claims/accidents as of January 1, 2024. In the recent period, the necessary preparations have been made to arrive at a national guarantee fund in addition to this expertise bureau that will provide funding for non-insurable claims. Also for participation in the Safety Regions Guarantee Fund Foundation to be established for this purpose, the municipal councils will be given the opportunity to express any wishes and make them known.
