The council decided to award an Honorary Medal. Further communication will be made after the presentation of the medal.

Status of refugee reception

The college informs the city council about the (possible) further interpretation of the refugee reception in Son en Breugel. The municipality purchased the location 'Boerenbond' at Van den Elsenstraat 36 in Son en Breugel at the end of 2023. The college offered this location to the Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers (COA) for the reception of 70 refugees.
