Sustainability Implementation Agenda 2021 to 2022.
The council decides not to adopt a new sustainability policy in 2021 and approves the Sustainability Implementation Agenda 2021 to 2022.
The duration of the current Sustainability Policy is 2016 to 2020. In 2020, the recalibration was postponed due to limited capacity and the realization of several major policy products and the new environmental policy. In 2021, the situation has not changed. The Implementation Agenda provides insight into the ongoing activities undertaken to achieve the identified goals.
Repeal 2021 precario tax ordinance
The council decides to repeal the 2021 precario tax ordinance. The corona measures have had a major financial impact on hospitality entrepreneurs. By not levying precario tax, entrepreneurs will get some financial relief.
Technical amendment Joint Scheme Metropolitan Eindhoven 2021
The council
- Agrees to adopt the (technically) amended Joint Arrangement Metropolitan Eindhoven.
- Authorizes the College to enter into the (technically) amended joint arrangement.
- Takes note, in anticipation of the entry into force of the Joint Arrangement Metropoolregio Eindhoven, of the proposed (technical) adjustments to the Stature of Consultative Bodies Metropoolregio Eindhoven.
- proposes to the General Board of the Eindhoven Metropolitan Region, to implement Article 21, paragraph 2 of the Joint Arrangement Metropolitan Region Eindhoven 2021, by establishing the Council Table21 as a consultative body.
- in anticipation of the formal establishment of Council Table21 as a consultative body, appoints the current members of Council Table21 as members. These are Mr. Frans Meulenbroeks and Mr. Marco Pulles.
Updating Joint Regulation Safety Region Brabant-Zuidoost
The council authorizes the college to approve the updating of the Joint Regulation Safety Region Brabant-Zuidoost.
With the update, some (legislative) technical adjustments are completed and some formulations are legally improved.
"Heritage policy memorandum" and "Cultural history" zoning plan
The council
- Adopts the policy memorandum "Heritage Policy
- adopts and adopts the response to the views contained in the "Viewpoints Memorandum on Draft Zoning Plan "Cultural History", which is part of this decision.
- Adopts the "Cultural History" zoning plan as amended and makes it available digitally.Modification of regulation on appointment of citizen members; appointment of citizen members of City Council
The council allows for the remainder of this council term that a maximum of two citizen members can also be appointed per group, who have not been on the list of candidates for the municipal election in 2018. This is done as part of the Trial New Meeting Structure and while maintaining the other requirements and provisions established around citizen members.

- On behalf of the D66 Group: Mr. J.E. (Jürgen) Feuerriegel and Mr. P.A. (Flip) Verhagen
- On behalf of the DorpsVISIE group: Mr. W.K. (Willie) Horden.
Motions advanced to next meeting
Consideration of the Airport motion and the election sign renewal motion was postponed to the November 11, 2021 meeting.
