Annual report and financial statements for 2020, multi-year budget for 2022-2025, and the first and second budget amendments for Dienst Dommelvallei

The council takes note of the:

  • 2020 Annual Report Dienst Dommelvallei;
  • Multi-year budget 2022–2025 Dommelvallei Service;
  • First budget amendment 2021 Dommelvallei Service;
  • Second budget amendment 2021 Dommelvallei Service;

The council decides not to submit an opinion against the formation of an I&A reserve.
The council agrees to incorporate the financial consequences in the first management report for 2021 and the multi-year budget for 2022–2025.

Amendment

Adjustment to Regional Development Fund for Work Locations

  • The council decides to revoke the decision of February 4, 2021, whereby the council
    - delegated the authority to subsidize within the framework of the Regional Development Fund for Work Locations to the Development Fund Foundation;
    - adopted the Subsidy Regulation for Investments in the Regional Development Fund for Work Locations SGE (2021).
  • The council decides to adopt the Subsidy Regulation for Investments in the Regional Development Fund for Work Locations SGE (2021).
  • The council mandates the authority to implement the subsidy regulation, which explicitly includes making a decision on an application for a subsidy under the Subsidy Regulation for Investments in the Regional Development Fund for Work Locations SGE (2021), including all associated preparatory and implementation activities, to the SGE Work Locations Development Fund foundation.

The municipalities in the Eindhoven Urban Area recently finalized their decision-making process regarding adjustments to the Regional Development Fund for Work Locations (ROW). After finalizing this decision-making process, the municipalities were confronted with a ruling by the Administrative Law Division of the Council of State. In order to comply with this ruling, the powers are now being mandated (rather than delegated) to the SGE Business Locations Development Fund Foundation.
