Appointment credentials committee new council member
The council decides to appoint as members of the credentials committee: Mireille Bonnier, José Goossens-Junier and Marnix Thunnissen
Mr. Peter van Dam resigned as a council member April 1, 2025. Therefore, a new council member must be appointed.

The council decides to admit Mr. A. (Albert-Jan) Pomper as a new council member of the municipality of Son en Breugel.
Educational disadvantage policy (OAB) municipality of Son and Breugel 2025
The council adopts the Educational disadvantages policy (OAB) municipality of Son and Breugel 2025.
The aim of this policy is to ensure that every child has an equal opportunity in education. It is important to prevent (potential) educational disadvantages wherever possible and otherwise reduce them as early as possible.
Decision on objection withdrawing Grant Ordinance Municipal Social Fund 2013.
The council decides:
- Declare the objection inadmissible;
- Refer to the opinion of the Objections Committee for the reasons for the decision
On December 12, 2024, the City Council decided to repeal the 2013 Municipal Social Fund Grant Ordinance effective January 1, 2025. We received a notice of objection to this decision.
Establish council working group on 'swimming pool'
The council decided to establish a council working group on "swimming pool" and to appoint council members Mireille Bonnier, Remco Heeren, Ton Nagtzaam, Don Pasanea, Albert-Jan Pomper and Monique van Zwieten as members of this working group.
This working group will delve further into the pool file and specifically into the business plan provided.
