Future of the Eindhoven Regional Historical Center (RHCe), submit opinion

The council takes note of the draft letter "Future RHCe" dated June 25, 2020, and submits an opinion. In its opinion, the council expresses its appreciation for the proposed implementation and future developments of the tasks and asks the council to consider the administrative embedding.
If withdrawal from the Metropolitan Region is no longer considered desirable, the general board of the RHCe must take a decision on this, after consulting the participating municipalities.

The council approves the implementation of option b, "the extended version," and approves a credit of €98,000 excluding VAT for its implementation. This version makes it possible to follow the meetings live in the foyer, at home, and/or in other meeting rooms.

The council decides that the civil affairs committee will discuss the proposal again before the council makes a decision.
