3 Realization of JOP

For a long time, both young people and implementing partners (youth work, police, enforcement and supervision) have felt the need for a youth meeting place (JOP). The college previously decided to investigate the possibilities for a youth meeting place. Several possibilities emerge from this research A proposal is made to realize a youth meeting place and to implement it in the form of a pilot.

The college decides:

  1. To establish a JOP in Son en Breugel as a pilot for the duration of one year;
  2. Charge the cost of the JOP to the Youth Policy budget and the Safety Policy budget;
  3. To adopt the RIB text and include it in the next council information letter.

4 RIB btw Dommelhuis

Final agreement has been reached with the tax authorities in 2024 on the settlement in the field of VAT for the Dommelhuis.

The college decides to include the council information text 'VAT Dommelhuis' in the next council information letter.

5 New decision on objection Hercules Avenue 3

In the judgment of February 20, 2024, the East Brabant District Court upheld the appeal against the January 16, 2023 decision on the objection, set aside the decision on the objection and ordered the college to make a new decision on the objection within six weeks in compliance with the judgment. The college makes a new decision on the objection in compliance with the court's ruling.

The college decides to agree with the decision on objection.

6 Answering council questions GL/Pvda

On behalf of the group of the PvdA, written questions were asked on March 14 about the reports "Housing requirements seniors 2024" and "Recommendations housing policy seniors 2024" of the Seniorenraad Son en Breugel.

The college decides to agree to the (draft) response.

7 Rate rental (school) buildings child care organizations

In Son en Breugel, the municipality has invested in spaces for the purpose of child day care. This applies in particular to spaces in school buildings. The rental rates that currently apply are not uniform and in line with the market. In the Integral Housing Plan (IHP) 2024-2028, agreements on rental and/or co-use have been made between the municipality, school boards and childcare organizations. Based on the principle of equality, we are working toward a uniform rent.

The college decides to establish a uniform market-based rental rate for child care organizations.

8 Termination of use of school building Van Gentlaan 4

The former school building of elementary school BuitensteBinnen (van Gentlaan 4) will no longer be used for educational purposes, due to the replacement new building (Doormanlaan 1). At the end of the educational use, the school building will revert to the municipality. Since the school building will be demolished, the college decides not to draw up a state of maintenance for Van Gentlaan 4, to record the termination of educational activities at Van Gentlaan 4 in a notarial deed and to have it registered in the Land Register.

College Decision:

  1. To take note of the letter from school board PlatOO regarding "termination of use of school building";
  2. not to have a state of repair of the school building at 4 Van Gentlaan;
  3. To record the termination of educational activities at Van Gentlaan 4 in a notarized deed and have it registered in the Land Registry.

9 Amendment of joint arrangement WSD

As a result of the amendment of the Joint Arrangements Act, the WSD Joint Arrangement must be amended. To this end, the WSD board has sent a draft text proposal to the municipal councils and the colleges of the participating municipalities. The municipal councils and the college can respond to this. The college proposes the municipal council not to submit a substantive response and to inform the WSD, also on behalf of the college. Therefore, the college has adopted the council proposal to amend the WSD Joint Scheme.

The college decides:

  1. To submit the council proposal to amend Joint Arrangement WSD to the council for decision;
  2. To inform with a letter, on behalf of the WSD, that the content of the text proposal for amendment of the GR WSD, does not give rise to a substantive reaction, after adoption by the City Council.
