2. Political Evening Nov. 9, 2023
The college discusses the program for the November 9, 2023 Political Evening.
3. Implementation Decree Waste Regulation Municipality of Son and Breugel 2024.
On September 21, 2023, the City Council decided to adjust the collection frequency of PMD and GFT to once every 2 weeks. The decision requires an amendment to the Waste Ordinance Implementation Decree. The college adopts and submits the draft Waste Ordinance Implementation Decree 2024 for views. The college decides to adopt the draft implementation decree waste substances regulation municipality of Son en Breugel 2024 and submit it for views.
4. Cooperation agreement Van Gogh National Park.
The Van Gogh National Park is a name that generates both national and international attention for our municipality and our region. Being a partner of the Van Gogh National Park provides more opportunities for co-financing for Van Gogh National Park-related projects in the areas of nature and landscape, recreation, heritage, agriculture and spatial quality. This will implement the Master Plan Van Gogh National Park. Within the Stedelijk Gebied Eindhoven it has been agreed to act jointly within the Van Gogh National Park. This will make the administrative and official efforts more efficient. With the signing of the Cooperation Agreement the agreements are laid down for the coming years.
The College decides:
1.To have the mayor sign the 2024-2028 'Van Gogh National Park' cooperation agreement. With the intention to continue the collaboration as of January 1, 2024 for a longer period, whereby the financial agreements, for the time being, pending the definitive granting of the status of National Park, relate to 2024.
2.To make available for 2024 the contribution of € 8,572.
3.Continue with the implementation of the development lines from the Master Plan Van Gogh National Park.
5.RIB Research Aquathermie Wilhelminakanaal
On December 23, 2021, you adopted the Transition Vision Heat (TVW) for Son and Breugel. In the TVW it was agreed to conduct an investigation into the potential of Aquathermie from the Wilhelminakanaal. IF Technology has investigated the potential for the municipalities along the Wilhelminakanaal and Eindhoven. We will inform the city council of the results of the study.
The College decides to inform the City Council of the results of the Aquathermy study through the Council Information Letter.
6. Letter of intent STORM
In recent years we have seen a deterioration in mental health among young people throughout the region; among other things, loneliness and depression are becoming more common. We want to address this regionally with the STORM (Strong Teens and Resilient Minds) prevention program. By expressing the intention to participate in this program, co-financing can be requested from 113. The municipality of Son and Breugel is authorized by the participating regional municipalities to apply for co-financing for the region at 113.
The College decides:
1. To sign the declaration of intent for the implementation of the suicide prevention program STORM in Son and Breugel.
2. On behalf of the participating regional municipalities to apply for co-financing from 113 for STORM for the first two years of the program.
