1. Internal (non-public) list of decisions and public list of decisions dated June 27, 2023 - Suzanne Otters-Bruijnen

The college adopts the decision lists.

2. Political Evening July 6, 2023 - Suzanne Otters-Bruijnen

The council discusses the program schedule for the Political Evening on July 6, 2023.

3. General Management MRE dated July 5, 2023 - Suzanne Otters-Bruijnen

The next meeting of the General Board of the Eindhoven Metropolitan Region will take place on July 5, 2023. The agenda and accompanying documents are hereby submitted to the council for information.

The council decides to take note of the agenda and accompanying documents for the meeting of the General Board of the Eindhoven Metropolitan Region on July 5, 2023.

4. Subsidy scheme for energy cost compensation - Jelle de Jong

In response to rising energy costs, a subsidy scheme has been set up to compensate local social organizations for the increase in high energy prices.

College Decision:

  • to adopt the Subsidy Scheme for Energy Cost Compensation for Local Social Organizations in Son en Breugel 2023;
  • to cover the expenses of the subsidy scheme for energy cost compensation from the provision for wage and price developments and to include this in the second management report for 2023.

5. Publication of intended sale of real estate - Jan Boersma 

On April 25, 2023, the council adopted the policy memorandum: "Issuance of immovable property following the Didam ruling." The advisory memorandum states that individual cases will still be submitted separately for decision-making. In the context of Houtens, Planetenlaan-Eind, Akkerpad, and the land exchange with Prodrive, it is proposed that this proposed land allocation be published.

The college decides to:

  1. the intention to publish land for redevelopment to Houtens;
  2. to publish the intention to release land for redevelopment at Planetenlaan-Eind;
  3. to publish the intention to release land for the redevelopment of Akkerpad;
  4. to publish the intention to release land for the development of the EVZ near Prodrive Ekkersrijt.

6. Extending the contract for residual waste processing with Attero - Jan Boersma

Under the supervision of Midwaste, a tender was held for the processing of residual waste. These agreements are now in their first extension (until February 1, 2025) and may be extended again for the period from February 1, 2025, to February 1, 2028. The exercise of this extension option must be announced by July 31, 2023, at the latest. The council has decided to exercise the second extension option until February 1, 2028.


The council decides to extend the contract with Attero for the processing of residual waste until February 1, 2028.
