1. Internal (non-public) list of decisions and public list of decisions dated March 28, 2023 - Jelle de Jong
The college adopts the decision lists.
2. Son en Breugel Medal of Honor - Jelle de Jong
The municipality of Son en Breugel has had a medal of honor since 1980. This medal can be awarded by the municipal executive as a token of appreciation, recognition, and gratitude to individuals or organizations that have rendered outstanding services to the municipality or the local community. This proposal concerns the nomination of Mr. Hans Gaillard for this medal of honor.
The council decides to award the honorary medal of the municipality of Son en Breugel to Hans Gaillard.
3. SGE Administrative Platform dated April 7, 2023 - Jan Boersma
The Administrative Platform of the Eindhoven Urban Area (SGE) is scheduled for April 7, 2023. The agenda and supporting documents will be submitted to the municipal executive for information.
The council takes note of the agenda and supporting documents for the Eindhoven Urban Area Administrative Platform dated April 7, 2023.
4. Subsidy application for activities of the Wilhelminakanaal 100 Years Heritage Association - Jelle de Jong
The Son en Breugel Heritage Association, together with the Kanaalstraat neighborhood association, has taken up the idea of commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Wilhelmina Canal in 2023. In May 2023, they will organize a number of activities for the residents of Son en Breugel, focusing on the origins of the Wilhelmina Canal. The ArsLonga art association has also been asked by the heritage association to contribute to this anniversary year of the canal. The organizer is requesting a financial contribution from the municipality of Son en Breugel to carry out these activities.
The council decides:
- to grant a one-time support subsidy of up to €1,150 to the Son en Breugel heritage association for activities celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Wilhelmina Canal;
- to grant a one-time support subsidy of up to €750 to the ArsLonga art association for the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Wilhelmina Canal;
- to apply the hardship clause to subsidize more than 50% of the budgeted costs for the activities of the heritage association and art association ArsLonga.
5. Municipal preemptive right in the Breeakker area; Memorandum of views on the Municipal Preemptive Right Act for Breeakker in Son en Breugel - Jan Boersma
The proposed council decision to designate part of the plots located in the 'Breeakker' area as plots to which Articles 10 to 15, 24, and 26 of the Municipal Preferential Right Act (Wvg) apply, pursuant to Article 4 of the Wvg, will be available for public inspection from February 20, 2023 (until March 20, 2023). Nine (legal) persons have made use of the opportunity to submit an opinion against the proposed council decision, all of which were submitted within the specified opinion period. The "Memorandum of Opinions on the Municipal Preferential Right Act Breeakker in Son en Breugel" summarizes the opinions submitted and deemed admissible for each complainant. The municipal assessment is then presented. It is proposed that the Memorandum of Opinions be submitted to the council for the purpose of final decision-making.
The college decides to:
- take note of the draft "Statement of views on the Breeakker municipalities' right of first refusal law in Son en Breugel";
- to submit the "Memorandum of Views on the Law on Municipal Preferential Rights for Breeakker in Son en Breugel" to the council in the context of the decision-making process on establishing preferential rights for the Breeakker sub-area in Son en Breugel.
