6. Rental of temporary school units Block Temple - Steven Grevink

The council has made budget available for the realization of the expansion of Bloktempel Elementary School. The project always took into account a possibility that during construction some classrooms could not be used for a short period due to construction nuisance. Also that this possibility would only become known after the tendering had taken place. It has become known that temporary housing is indeed needed during construction. Other locations were first considered for the temporary housing. These are all very costly or undesirable for temporary housing of education. Four temporary units are required to temporarily house education at the Blok Temple for six months. The cost of €158,000 will be included in the second administrative report 2023.

College Decision:

  1. To include the additional credit. of Euro 158,000,- for the rental of school units in the second administrative report;

  3. To inform the council of this via the Council Information Letter.
