1. Internal (non-public) list of decisions and public list of decisions dated October 18, 2022 / Hans Gaillard
The college adopts the decision lists.
2. Rib on youth protection in Brabant / Steven Grevink
The council decides to adopt the submitted text on 'the state of affairs regarding youth protection in Brabant' and to include it in the next council information letter.
3. Amendment plan "Outlying area; Hooijdonk 7" / Jelle de Jong
The zoning plan for rural areas offers the possibility of converting the zoning from "commercial" to "residential." The initiator wants to make use of this. Part of the zoning
will be converted to residential, the remaining part to "nature." This contributes to the objectives of the municipality, water board, and province. It is now up to the council to approve the plan
for the procedure.
College Decision:
- to enter into the prior agreement with reference number 1411650 with the initiator and to publish the business content of the agreement;
- the draft amendment plan "Buitengebied; Hooijdonk 7" with plan IDNNL.IMRO.0848.BPW831BUITENGEBIED-ON01 will be available for inspection for a period of six weeks for comments, after the agreement has been signed by all parties.
4. Repairs and maintenance at De Corridor / Jelle de Jong accommodation
This advisory opinion concerns the funding of repair and maintenance work on the De Corridor accommodation.
The council decides to approve the payment of the costs for replacing eight LED floodlights at a cost of €19,100 (excluding VAT).
5. Temporary accommodation for De Bongerd activities in Het Vestzaktheater and the airdome / Jelle de Jong
In order to allow activities at De Bongerd to continue during the new construction, temporary accommodation will be provided in the balloon hall/air dome of the Kunstgras foundation
and at the Vestzaktheater. The operation of both accommodations is discussed in this proposal.
The council decides to approve:
- the funding of physical education proposed in the advisory report;
- the operating agreement for the airdome included in the appendix;
- the operating agreement for the Vestzaktheater included in the appendix.
6. Credit vote for temporary accommodation for De Bongerd sports hall / Jelle de Jong
On Friday, September 30, the council was informed via a council information letter about the completion of the investigation into temporary accommodation for the users of De Bongerd.
Further investigation has revealed that in the council proposal 'credit vote for new construction De Bongerd', the estimated amount of €600,000 for temporary accommodation was not included in the credit vote by the city council on July 22, 2021.

College Decision:
- to designate the temporary accommodation for the users of De Bongerd as a fire hazard;
- to approve the provision of credit in the amount of €600,000 for temporary accommodation for the users of De Bongerd;
- to submit the financial consequences to the municipal council via the addendum to the 2nd Management Report 2022.
7. Progress on the residual strips project / Jan Boersma
The council is periodically informed about the progress of the residual strips project by means of reports.
College Decision:
- take note of the reports drawn up following the periodic project team consultations with portfolio holder Jan Boersma;
- take note of the financial status of the project;
- inform the municipal council about progress by means of the submitted RIB.
8. Land rental De Rooy - Ekkersrijt / Jan Boersma
In 1988, the Ekkersrijt Industrial Estate leased plot B2471, located on the east side of the A50 motorway, to G.M. de Rooy & Zn. The lease agreement ended in 1993
. After lengthy legal proceedings, it was agreed that G.M. de Rooy & Zn. could use the plot free of charge until August 1, 2011, at the latest. This was extended once to August 1, 2012, in connection with the temporary facilitation of Ikea during the renovation of the store and construction of the parking garage. The municipality then made new agreements for the period from January 1, 2020, to December 31, 2022, and laid these down in a lease agreement. For the period from January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2023, we want to enter into a new lease agreement with G.M. de Rooy & Zn.
College Decision:
- to lease plot B2471, measuring 25,440 m2, to G.M. de Rooy & Zn for a period of one year, commencing on January 1, 2023;
- in accordance with the draft lease agreement for plot B2471 in Son en Breugel.
9. Rib major maintenance September 17 Square / Jan Boersma
Major maintenance work will be carried out on 17 September Square. The municipal council will be informed of this via the submitted rib text.
The council decides to adopt the submitted text on 'major maintenance of 17 September Square' and to include it in the council information letter of October 28, 2022.
10. Land development Center Son / Jan Boersma
The municipal council is being asked to approve the land development plan for the center of Son. The land development plan for the center of Son was discussed on October 6, 2022, in an exploratory meeting (
).
Following the exploratory meeting, the decision points in the council proposal were amended. The municipal executive is therefore once again being asked
to approve the amended council proposal and to submit it to the municipal council for a decision.
The council decides to approve the council proposal and the land development plan for the center of Son.
