4. Covenant addressing drug sites

The “East Brabant Drug Hotspots Strategy 2025–2030” agreement focuses on a coordinated approach to drug-related crime. During the biennial review of the cannabis agreement, the parties involved (namely the police, all municipalities in East Brabant, the UWV, housing associations with a property portfolio in East Brabant, the North Brabant and Southeast Brabant Safety Regions, Brabant Water, and Enexis) expressed a desire to expand the agreement into a drug agreement. The agreement facilitates cooperation and information sharing among the parties. This strengthens the integrated safety approach and helps prevent and combat drug production and trafficking.

The Municipal Executive decides:

  1. To agree to the covenant "Approach to Drug Sites East Brabant 2025-2030" and its annexes;
  2. To adopt the text on the covenant "Approach to Drug Locations East Brabant 2025-2030" and include it in the next council information letter.

The mayor signs the covenant sign sheet.

5. (Re)development site Ruysdaelstraat 2

On June 11, 2024, the preliminary operating agreement for the construction of 53 rental apartments at the Ruysdaelstraat 2 site was approved. For the energy supply, the developer has opted for a heat and cold storage system, utilizing a number of ground-source heat exchangers located beneath the public parking lot. Additional agreements have been made regarding the construction, management, maintenance, and costs of modifying the public space to accommodate the ground-source heat exchangers and associated cables and pipes.
For this reason, the preliminary agreement must be supplemented. This will take the form of an “addendum” so that all obligations between the municipality and the developer are consolidated in this agreement. The municipal executive decides to adopt the addendum and proceed with its signing.

The municipal executive decides to adopt the “addendum to the prior operating agreement, including the land sale agreement, regarding the change of zoning for residential development at the Ruysdaelstraat 2 site in Son en Breugel.”

6. CDA written questions: income support measures.

The CDA council group has submitted questions to the council regarding communication about income support measures in response to a recent initiative by the municipality of Nuenen to publish a booklet on the subject. These questions are answered in a letter.

The municipal executive has decided to adopt the response letter to the council.
