3. Preconditions and principles Pieter Brueghelplein 1

At address Pieter Brueghelplein 1, there is an auto parts store with a workshop at the rear. Above the store is an existing residence. The owner of the property wants to redevelop the store and workshop into four residences for single or double households, with an area of approximately 67-101 m2 per residence. The existing upstairs dwelling will be retained.
The initiative proposal does not fit within the environmental plan of the municipality of Son and Bruegel. This college proposal provides the preconditions and starting points under which the municipality can grant cooperation to the plan. On this basis the initiator is invited to further elaborate the plan.

College Decision:

  1. To agree to the "preconditions and principles of development site Pieter Brueghelplein 1" for the redevelopment of the development site Pieter Brueghelplein 1;
  2. To inform the initiator in writing about the "preconditions and principles of development location Pieter Brueghelplein 1" and to request to come up with an elaborate plan that fulfills them.

4. Archive and information management improvement plan 2025-2026.

It is proposed to approve the improvement plan for archive and information management 2025-2026 and to inform the council about it by means of a council information letter. It is also proposed to provide this improvement plan to the Provincial Executive of North Brabant.

College Decision:

  1. Adopt the archival and information management improvement plan 2025-2026;
  2. adopt the text on improvement plan archival and information management 2025-2026 and include it in the next council information letter;
  3. To send the Archive and Information Management Improvement Plan 2025-2026 to the Provincial Executive of North Brabant.

5. Draft Environmental Vision 2.0

With the adoption of the "Environment Vision Son and Breugel; OOg to a bright future!" of 2022, it was decided to elaborate on a number of themes and areas. This has been done in recent years. The draft 'Omgevingsvisie Son en Breugel; OOg op een zonnige toekomst!" version 2025 is an update that incorporates newly adopted policies and established actuality. This draft Environmental Vision should be released by the college and made available for inspection, so that views can be submitted.

The college decides:

  1. To adopt the draft "Environment Vision Son and Breugel; OOg to a bright future!" version 2025;
  2. to release the draft "Environment Vision Son and Breugel; OOg to a bright future!" version 2025 for the viewing period

6. OV Desire picture subregion-east.

In the context of good accessibility, the mobility transition and the scale leap in the Brainport region, the importance of an optimal public transport (OV) supply is increasing. Subregio-east of the Metropolitan Region Eindhoven (MRE) has therefore joined forces and drawn up a joint public transport wish list.

College Decision:

  1. To adopt the "Desirable OV sub-region-east.
  2. To adopt the text on "Desired OV sub-region-east" and include it in the next council information letter.

7. Credit request New Street 45-47

The college is proposed to purchase the location Nieuwstraat 45 and 47 in Son en Breugel. A credit is needed for the purchase. The municipal council is proposed to make this credit available.

College Decision:

  1. to purchase New Street 45 and 47, with the resolutive condition of the approval of the appropriation necessary for this purpose by the City Council.
  2.  To be presented to the City Council:
    1. To provide a credit for the purchase and maintenance of location Nieuwstraat 45 and 47 in Son en Breugel;
    2. incorporate the financial implications for 2025 and beyond into the 8th Budget Amendment 2025.
