The Eindhoven Metropolitan Region (MRE) is currently undergoing a jump in scale. Therefore, the General Board of the MRE has decided to cooperate more closely with Meierijstad, Weert and Venlo. Now the next step is to specify what that cooperation will look like. The Executive Board (DB) of the MRE now asks you (before October 31, 2025) to give your views on these cooperation agendas and arrangements. The municipality requests attention for extra access to the A50, Brainport HUB, coordination of the housing program with the province, the level of facilities and nature and landscape.

7. Request for advice ASD GPK policy rules.

Residents with disabilities, including walking disabilities, can apply for a disabled parking map. This Map allows them to park, for example, in disabled parking spaces. The goal is to promote self-reliance and participation of residents with disabilities. From the CMD there is a need for clear rules, both for the CMD professionals and the resident. For this reason, the policy rules GPK have been drawn up.

The college decides to release the draft policy rules GPK Son en Breugel to the Advisory Council Social Domain and send a letter.

8. Advisory session City Council choices Extended Private Connections (VPAs).

At the July 3 council meeting, new rules for Extended Private Connections (VPAs) were discussed. These rules, which the council as the authority wants to adopt, are part of the amendment to the General Administrative Order (APV) for allowing VPAs. Because the city council asked for more background information, in this session we will explain our choices and ask the council's advice.

The college decides to agree to organize an advisory session for the council on choices regarding allowing Extended Private Connections (VPAs).
