Decision on the appeal
On April 10, 2024, permission to construct an access road on the parcel of land locally known as Doormanlaan 54 in Son en Breugel was granted by operation of law. On December 5 and 9, 2025, the municipal executive received objections to the aforementioned decision. The Objections Committee recommended that the objections be declared inadmissible.
The Municipal Executive decides:1. to declare the objections inadmissible;
2. To refer to the opinion of the Appeals Committee for the reasoning behind the decision.
DDV IBT 2025 Oversight Assessment: 2025–2026 Records and Information Management Improvement Plan
On January 15, 2026, the Dommelvallei Agency received the supervisory assessment from the Province’s IBT regarding the 2025–2026 Improvement Plan for Records and Information Management of the Dommelvallei Agency and the Dommelvallei municipalities. The municipalities received this on January 29, 2026. The oversight assessment for all organizations was “partially satisfactory.”
College Decision:
1. To take note of the Intergovernmental Oversight (IBT) assessment by the Province regarding the 2025–2026 Archives and Information Management Improvement Plan of the Dommelvallei Service and the municipalities. In doing so, to take note of the IBT investigation report on the overview of archival records;
2. to adopt the updated 2025–2026 improvement plan and forward it to the council for information, including the IBT research report on the overview of archival records;
3. To approve the text regarding the IBT audit opinion on the 2025–2026 Archives and Information Management Improvement Plan of the Dommelvallei Service and the municipalities, and to include it in the next council information letter.
Concept-Vision: Living with Health
The Social Domain Advisory Council has issued a recommendation regarding the draft “Living with Health Vision. In light of this recommendation, the draft vision has been revised. The municipal executive has adopted the response, which will be forwarded to the Social Domain Advisory Council.
College Decision:
1. to adopt the response to the recommendation issued by the Social Domain Advisory Council;
2. To grant Alderman a text mandate to respond to the request for advice from ASD Visie Wonen met Health.
