1. Adoption of the list of non-public decisions and the list of public decisions of the municipal executive meeting dated September 15, 2020 / Hans Gaillard

The college adopts the decision lists.

2. Agenda for the council meeting on September 24, 2020 / Hans Gaillard

The council discusses the items on the agenda for the council meeting on September 24.

3. Extension of no-stopping zone Ekkersrijt 1100 / Jan Boersma

Parking pressure on Ekkersrijt Oost has increased significantly in recent years. This has led to a situation on Ekkersrijt 1100 where business owners are unable to access their premises, or can only do so with great difficulty. Business owners have requested that the accessibility of their premises be guaranteed. With the exception of the no-stopping zone introduced in 2019, the current situation is unenforceable because no law or regulation is being violated. To ensure that business owners can access their premises without obstruction, we are applying a continuous yellow line on one side of the road. This means that there is a no-stopping zone throughout the entire street, which can be enforced.

The council decides to approve a traffic decision stating:

  1. extending the one-way no-stopping zone across the entire south side of Ekkersrijt 1100;
  2. to withdraw the costs of approximately €15,000 from the Ekkersrijt infrastructure measures earmarked reserve. It is proposed to incorporate the above into budget amendment 201070 and to include it in the second management report for 2020.

4. Subsidy request for exterior painting of municipal monument Henk's Home, Hendrik Veenemanstraat 7 / Jan Boersma

On July 15, a subsidy was requested for exterior painting and wood repairs to the municipal monument Henk's Home, located at Hendrik Veenemanstraat 7. A partial subsidy of €705 can be granted.

The council has decided to grant a subsidy of €705 for exterior painting and wood repairs to the municipal monument at Hendrik Veenemanstraat 7.

5. No precario tax for 2020 / Jan Boersma

Due to the coronavirus crisis, do not levy the precario tax in order to support entrepreneurs and provide some financial relief. This amounts to a rounded sum of €9,000.

The council decides not to levy the 2020 precario tax.

6. Tax Regulations 2021 / Jan Boersma

Every year the council is presented with a proposal on municipal tax rates and tax ordinances.

College Decision:

  1. to approve the draft council proposal to adopt the 2021 tax regulations, including rates;
  2. to adopt the 2021 Municipal Tax Collection Guidelines;
  3. to adopt the 2021 municipal tax collection regulations.

7. Presentation of the Breugel Bruist! area vision / Jos de Bruin

The plans for the village center of Breugel are taking shape. Work has been underway for some time on the Breugel Bruist project, a process involving constantly changing insights and new perspectives. We are starting from a broad vision, with answers to questions such as: how do traffic flows in the area, where do we position the entrances to the buildings, where do we create parking facilities, and what function will the copse have within the plan?
We are looking at how we can connect the various buildings (farm, orchard, housing on the Regenbooglocatie, and retail) in a logical and coherent manner.
After discussion in the council, the vision will be presented online to the residents of Son en Breugel and presented at a joint meeting of the Land Affairs and Civil Affairs committees (October 27).

College Decision:

  1. take note of the Breugel Bruist! Area Vision;
  2. share the content of the Area Vision with the residents of Son en Breugel in accordance with the communication section;
  3. to submit the area vision to the GZ and BZ committees with the request to put it on the agenda for the meeting on October 27.
