2. 2019 Annual Report on Subversion Dommelstroom / Hans Gaillard

Tackling subversive crime is a priority in many security plans.
The annual report shows what has been achieved within Dommelstroom in the field of subversion over the past year. Over the past year, the focus has not only been on physical and visible actions, such as dismantling a cannabis farm, but also on increasing the resilience of residents, entrepreneurs, and the administration.
The focus on undermining crime is increasing, and the course set will therefore be continued in 2020.

  1. take note of the ‘2019 Dommelstroom Annual Report on Subversion’;
  2. to inform the city council about this via the council information letter.

4. Audiovisual equipment phase 2 Town hall / Hans Gaillard

The question we asked ourselves was: "How can we make our council chamber as future-proof as possible?" In doing so, we looked at the ongoing digitization of society, but also took the current situation (COVID-19) into account.Can the council function if we consider therijksoverheid and recommendations and the requirements in the emergency law? By choosing option b), we comply with the rules and are prepared for the future. The options were discussed in the Presidium on July 9, 2020.

The council decides to submit the attached council proposal to the council and to ask it:

  1. to agree to the implementation of option b) "The extended version";
  2. to approve a loan for the implementation of option b) "The extended version" at €98,000 excluding VAT;
  3. cover the capital costs of the loan from the provision for "center development growth path" (the growth path is sufficient);
  4. to incorporate the financial consequences of the above into the eighth budget amendment for 2020.
