2. Annual report on undermining 2019 Dommelstroom / Hans Gaillard

Tackling undermining crime is prioritized in many security plans.
The annual report shows what has been achieved in the past year within Dommelstroom in the field of undermining. In the past year not only physical and visible actions have been used, such as dismantling a hemp nursery, but also a lot of attention has been paid to increasing the resilience of residents, entrepreneurs and government.
The focus on undermining is increasing and the course set will be continued in 2020.

College Decision:

  1. To take note of the 'Annual Report on Undermining 2019 Dommelstroom';
  2. Inform the City Council of this through the council information letter.

3. Joint response draft RES / Paul van Liempd

The joint response to the draft RES was discussed in the Land Affairs Committee. Based on the committee meeting, the response has been refined. The response will now be presented to the council for decision on August 27, 2020.

College Decision:

  1. To ask the groups in writing to express a preference in advance on item 4.1A or 4.1B. To include the preference of the majority in the joint draft response;
  2. Submit the joint draft response to the City Council for decision.

4. Audiovisual resources phase-2 City Hall / Hans Gaillard

The question we asked ourselves is; "how can we make our council chamber as future-proof as possible for the future. Here we are looking at the ongoing digitization of society, but also with an eye to the current situation (COVID-19).Can the council function if we look at the rijksoverheid rules and recommendations and the requirements in the emergency law? With a choice of option (b) we comply with the rules and are prepared for the future. The options were discussed in the Presidium dated July 9, 2020.

The college decides to submit the attached council proposal to the council and ask it to:

  1. Agree to the realization of option (b) "The extended version";
  2. To agree to a credit for the realization of option b) "The extended version" at € 98,000 excluding VAT;
  3. cover the capital costs of the credit from the "growth path center development" line item(the growth path is sufficient);
  4. To include the financial implications of the above in the 8th Budget Amendment 2020.

5. Opinions land area committee July 8 and 13, 2020 / Hans Gaillard

The College decides to take note of the opinions and commitments of the July 8 and 13 Land Affairs Committee.

6. Decision on objection regarding request for music education subsidy / Jos de Bruin

The college received an application for a music education grant from the objector on February 2, 2020. By decision dated
dated February 4, 2020, this application was denied. This is because, pursuant to the music education grant ordinance 2001, the application should have been submitted by
December 1, 2019, should have been submitted. The committee recommends that the appeal be declared unfounded and that the contested decision be upheld.

College Decision:

  1. Declare the objector's appeal unfounded;
  2. uphold the contested decision;
  3. Refer to the opinion of the Objections Committee for the reasons for the decision above.
