4 General Board MRE dated July 3, 2024
On July 3, 2024, the next meeting of the General Board of the Eindhoven Metropolitan Region will take place. Through this advisory note, the agenda and related documents are submitted to the college for notification.
The college decides to take notice of the agenda, related documents and official annotations made for the consultation of the General Board of the Eindhoven Metropolitan Region on July 3, 2024.
5 Education and VVE Temporary Municipal Reception (TGO)
The Temporary Municipal Reception (TGO) is also expected to accommodate children. As of the new school year, educational places have been realized for the school-age children at a First Opvang Anderstaligen (EOA) in Eindhoven. Given the short time frame, it is not possible to realize a Pre-School Education (VE) place for toddlers from the TGO. The college therefore decides not to make a VE child place available for the toddlers from the TGO.
College Decision:
- not provide Early Childhood Education (VE) child places to toddlers from the TGO;
- To accept the Memo Education Temporary Municipal Accommodation (TGO) (Appendix 1) for notification.
6 Decision on objection rejection of application for urgency decision
On February 15, 2024, the college decides to reject an application for an urgency decision. On February 29, 2024, the college receives a notice of objection from the objector to the above decision. The Objections Committee recommends that the objection be declared admissible, upheld and the contested decision revised by granting a medical urgency.
College Decision:
- Declare the objection admissible and well-founded;
- Revise the contested decision by granting medical urgency;
- Refer to the opinion of the Objections Committee for the reasons for the decision.
7 Environment Day Southeast Brabant d.d. July 4, 2024
An Environment Day is organized twice a year for each region in North Brabant. During an Environment Day, agreements are made between the municipalities, the province and the water boards. These agreements can have legal consequences, for example for (yet to be developed) zoning plans. The documents for the Environment Day on July 4, 2024 are presented to the college with this memorandum.
The college decides to accept for notification the agenda, related documents and annotations made for the Environment Day Southeast Brabant dated July 4, 2024.
8 Participation collaboration Brainport for each other
In 2023, the "Brainport for each other" program office was started in connection with existing cooperation initiatives. On the one hand, in addition to the economic agenda, to develop a social brainport agenda from a broad reflection of social organizations, companies, governments and education. But also to intensify cooperation with business, knowledge institutions and social partners. The proposal is for the municipality of Son and Breugel to participate in the cooperation "Brainport for each other".
College Decision:
- to participate in the "Brainport for each other" collaboration;
- Transfer the signing of the partnership agreement from Mayor Otters to Alderman De Jong;
- Evaluate the cooperation through " Brainport for each other" after 2 years.
- To entrust the signing of the "Brainport for each other" partnership agreement implementing the College decision dated July 2, 2024 to Alderman Jelle de Jong, in accordance with the provisions of Article 171 (2) of the Municipal Law.
9 Decision on objection to environmental permit cap Brewer Street.
On February 26, 2024, the college decides to grant an environmental permit for the felling of two trees near Brouwerstraat 18 in Son en Breugel. On April 17, 2024, the college receives by email a notice of objection from the objector. The Objections Committee recommends that the objection be declared inadmissible.
College Decision:
- Declare the objection inadmissible;
- To refer to the opinion of the Objections Committee for the reasons for the decision.
10 Plan of Approach Sciencepark Ekkersrijt
In order to give impetus to the further development of Science Park, a plan of action has been drawn up on main lines. To this end, a process was followed in which entrepreneurs and owners were actively involved and provided their input.
The college decides to accept for notification the Outline Plan of Action for the further development of Sciencepark Ekkersrijt.
11 Mobility Vision
The municipality of Son en Breugel strives for a safe, livable and accessible village for everyone. The current traffic situation and future developments require a new vision on how we want to deal with traffic in the municipality. This vision has been laid down in a new Mobility Vision for the municipality of Son en Breugel.
College Decision:
- Adopt the Mobility Vision (draft) and Mobility Plan (draft) Son en Breugel;
- To further elaborate the Mobility Vision (concept) according to the Mobility Plan (concept) Son en Breugel;
- Submit the Mobility Vision (draft) and Mobility Plan (draft) Son en Breugel to the municipal council via a council proposal;
- text mandate for Alderman Boersma.
12 Written questions on Soil Quality
On May 15, 2024, a CDA council member asked a technical question about whether PFAS and PFAS research is on the agenda in the municipality of Son and Breugel. This question was technically answered on May 16. On June 12, 2024, following this answer, the CDA group asked written questions on Soil Quality. The college answers the CDA's written questions on Soil Quality.
College Decision:
- Adopt the response to the written questions on Soil Quality, as included in the outgoing letter to the City Council, and send this letter.
