2. Overview of decisions taken during mandate week 38 2023 / Suzanne Otters-Bruijnen
The council is periodically informed about decisions taken under mandate. The overview contains decisions taken on behalf of the council or the mayor in the past period. The council takes note of the 'Overview of decisions taken under mandate in week 38 2023'.
3. Mandate of Youth Supervisor / Steven Grevink
Within the purchasing region Een 10 voor de Jeugd (10vdJ), it has been decided to appoint a youth legality supervisor. Pursuant to the Son en Breugel Youth Assistance Regulation 2023, the appointment of a supervisor is a power vested in the municipal executive. The supervisor will work from the GR Peelgemeenten. The municipal executive has decided to mandate the Managing Director of GR Peelgemeenten to appoint youth legality supervisors and to issue and sign the identification cards for the supervisors. The council decides to grant a mandate to the General Director of Peelgemeenten to appoint youth supervisors for the Een 10 voor de Jeugd region with effect from October 1, 2023, and to issue and sign the identification documents for the supervisors.
4. Political Evening and List of Commitments / Suzanne Otters-Bruijnen
The council discusses the program schedule for the Political Evening of September 21, 2023, and the list of commitments made by the council on July 13, 2023.
5. Proposal for flag protocol for the municipality of Son en Breugel / Suzanne Otters-Bruijnen
To ensure clarity about when the municipality of Son en Breugel flies flags, we have laid down the agreements on this in a protocol. In addition to the national flag instructions, flags are also flown at other times. These may be occasions prompted by events with a major social impact or when there are sentiments surrounding national, international, or local events. The council decides:
1. to adopt the flag protocol for the municipality of Son en Breugel 2023;
2. to inform the council in the next council information letter;
3. that the portfolio holder will be given the mandate by the council to implement adjustments in the implementation, as deemed appropriate.
6. Announcement Youth Safety First / Steven Grevink
Certified institution (GI) Jeugd Veilig Verder (JVV) has announced that it will cease its activities in the Southeast Brabant region as of January 1, 2024. This will have consequences for the families for which JVV is responsible. The council is being informed of this development and its follow-up via the council information letter. The council has decided to include the council information letter 'Jeugd Veilig Verder' in the next council information letter.
