3. Overview of decisions taken in mandate week 12 2024

The college is periodically informed about decisions taken in mandate. The overview includes decisions taken on behalf of the college or the mayor in the past period.

The college accepts for notification the Overview of decisions taken in mandate week 12 2024.
 

4. Decision on objection charge under penalty clause.

On October 9, 2023, the college decides to impose a penalty payment order. On November 21, 2023, the college receives a notice of objection from the objector to the above decision. The Objections Committee recommends that the objection be declared unfounded, that the contested decision be upheld and that the request for reimbursement of legal costs be rejected.

College Decision:

  1. Declare the objection unfounded;
  2. uphold the contested decision;
  3. Reject the request for reimbursement of legal costs;
  4. Refer to the opinion of the Objections Committee for the reasons for the decision
     

5. Decision on objection denial of special assistance application.

On October 11, 2023, the college decides to deny a request for special assistance. On October 17, 2023, the college receives a notice of objection from the objector to the above decision. The Objections Committee recommends that the objection be declared unfounded and that the contested decision be upheld.

The college decides:

  1. Declare the objection unfounded;
  2. uphold the contested decision;
  3. Refer to the opinion of the Objections Committee for the reasons for the decision.
     

6. Political Evening March 21, 2024 and list of commitments.

The college discussed the program of the March 21 Political Evening 2024 and the list of commitments to the council of February 22, 2024.
 

7. Memo accompanying advisory session Draft service concept

The draft service concept was prepared interactively with a representation of employees from the municipality of Nuenen c.a., the municipality of Son en Breugel and Dienst Dommelvallei. The starting points, preconditions and principles that they all recognize from the work field and embrace when it comes to contacts with our residents and businesses have been brought together. The Draft Service Concept will be presented to your college for further adoption. During an advisory session in the council, we would like to enrich the Draft Service Concept with the suggestions from the council.
 

The College decides to adopt the memo at an advisory session and forward it to the City Council for discussion.
 

8. Appointment of members advisory committee on environmental quality

In 2024 the spatial quality team (welstand) and the monument committee will be merged into the advisory committee on environmental quality Son en Breugel. The council adopted September 21, 2023, the ordinance Advisory Committee on Environmental Quality. This states that the members of the environmental quality advisory committee are appointed by the Municipal Executive.

College Decision:

  1. To appoint Adriaan Risseeuw as a member and chair of the Environmental Quality Committee.
  2. To appoint Helene Damen as a member of the Environmental Quality Committee.
  3. To appoint Carel Verdonschot from the Heritage Association as a member of the Environmental Quality Committee.
  4. To appoint Iris Penders as a member of the Environmental Quality Committee.
  5. To appoint the official heritage officer of the municipality of Son en Breugel as secretary of the environmental quality committee.
  6. To set the expense allowance for the external committee members at €50 per hour, indexed annually. 
  7. To inform the Council of the appointment of the members with a RIB.
     

9. Council decision additional credit De Bongerd

Due to indexation and cost increases, the credit made available by the council for the new multifunctional accommodation De Bongerd is insufficient. We ask the council to increase this credit by €1,150,000, including VAT, and to cover it from existing cover in the budget. For the longer use of the bladder hall among other things also provided for possible future adaptation of sports hall De Landing, we ask additional credit to purchase the bladder hall.
 

The College decides to propose to the City Council:

  1. To provide an additional credit of €1,150,000 including VAT for the new building of De Bongerd.
  2. Cover the capital costs, for €800,000, from the contingency for wage-price increases.
  3. To withdraw € 350,000 from the Son and Breugel center development reserve and deposit it in the Bongerd coverage reserve to cover the remaining capital costs.
  4. To provide a credit of € 181,500 including VAT for the purchase of the blowing hall.
  5. Cover the capital cost of the credit for the bladder hall from the budget result.
  6. To include the above financial impact for 2024 in the 4th Budget Amendment 2024 and the multi-year impact in the multi-year budget 2025-2028.
     

10. Presentation Center Son

In April, the City Council will again be updated on the Son Center Vision. In preparation, the urban planning office has prepared a presentation. The presentation is submitted to your college for information.

The college decides:

  • To accept the presentation for the Son Center Vision for the April 4 political evening for your information.
  • To adopt the memo for the purpose of the advisory council session.
