Views on draft budget 2023 VRBZO

Pursuant to the Joint Regulation Veiligheidsregio Brabant-Zuidoost, the councils of the participating municipalities are given the opportunity to express their views on the draft budget before the General Board adopts the budget.
The draft 2023 VRBZO budget was sent to the councils for these views on March 15. By means of a council proposal, the draft budget will be submitted to the municipal council.

The college agrees with the council proposal view on draft budget 2023 of Veiligheidsregio Brabant-Zuidoost, in which the following decision points are submitted to the council:

  1. To take note of the draft budget 2023 Security Region Brabant-Zuidoost (VRBZO);
  2. not to submit a view;
  3. incorporate the financial impact on the municipality of Son and Breugel in the 2023-2026 multi-year program budget.

Council information local distribution point food bank

The food bank started January 21, 2022, with a local distribution point of the Food Bank Best and Surroundings. This was a two-month trial where residents could sign up for a food package. The trial has been evaluated. We would like to update the City Council on the trial and its follow-up.

College Decision:

  1. To agree to the text for the council information letter;
  2. to include the text in the next council information letter.

Draft GGD 2023 program budget

On March 22, 2022, GGD Brabant-Zuidoost sent the City Council the draft 2023 program budget with the request to submit a view on it. The budget resulted in the submission of a positive opinion. The college decided to submit the council proposal to the council.

College Decision:

  1. To take note of the GGD draft program budget 2023;
  2. submit the council proposal to the City Council;
  3. incorporate the financial implications for the Municipality of Son and Breugel into the budget.

Sign sheet Covenant green enforcement North Brabant 2021 other partners (municipalities)

The first covenant was concluded in 2017 and temporarily renewed in 2019. This covenant is indefinite. With this covenant, all parties in North Brabant, can jointly act as effectively and efficiently as possible against abuses in the outlying area and natural areas in particular. It is thus possible that Boa's of the domain 2 (green Boa's)
can work on each other's territory and act across municipal boundaries.

The college decides to approve the North Brabant 2021 Green Enforcement Covenant.

Open Government Act

On May 1, 2022, the Open Government Act (Woo) will take effect. The Woo replaces the Open Government Act (Wob). This is a national development. All governments in the Netherlands will have to deal with the Woo. The Woo aims at a transparent and actively disclosing government. With this goal, the importance of openness of public information for the democratic rule of law, the resident, governance and economic development can be better served. The college and council are informed about the entry into force and implementation of this law in the municipality of Son and Breugel.

College Decision:

  1. Take note of the entry into force of the Open Government Act (Woo) on May 1, 2022;
  2. Designate the senior policy officer and policy officer with the Legal Affairs task area, part of the Strategy and Advice team, as contact persons under the Woo;
  3. Inform the council with the council information letter.

The college discusses the items scheduled for political night on April 21.

Fair 2022

Bureau De Kermisgids is submitting an application on behalf of the municipality of Son en Breugel for the organization of the fair in the center of Son in the near future. The permit has yet to be granted. The fair will be held from Friday, June 17 to Tuesday, June 21, 2022. In the Portfolioholder Consultation of March 28, 2022 it was discussed to award the stands for the fair in accordance with the lease proposal. The line-up of attractions is before us for approval.

College Decision:

  1. To agree to the arrangement of the fairgrounds;
  2. implement the proposed traffic measures for the purpose of safe conduct;
  3. have all power connections pre-inspected by an independent, licensed agency for the purpose of safe power supply.
