The college adopts the Political Evening program of June 20, 2024 and the list of commitments to the council of May 30, 2024.

The college decides to accept the "Overview of decisions taken in mandate week 25 2024" for notification.
5 Decision on objection to environmental permit to erect fourteen dwellings at location Houtens ong.
On December 13, 2023, the college decides to grant an environmental permit for the erection of fourteen dwellings at the location Houtens ongenummerd, parcel Son en Breugel C 6197. On January 18, 2024, the college receives two letters of objection from objectors against the above decision. The Objections Committee recommends that the objections be declared unfounded, that the contested decision be upheld and that the request for reimbursement of legal costs be rejected.
College Decision:
- declare the objections unfounded;
- uphold the contested decision;
- Reject the request for reimbursement of legal costs;
- Refer to the opinion of the Objections Committee for the reasons for the decision.
6 Update maintenance of art public space 2024
Municipality of Son and Breugel manages 33 art objects in the public space. In 2022, the municipal council approved the management plan for these objects. A text for the next council information letter will provide an update on the maintenance of art in public space.
The college decides to adopt the text on maintenance of art in public spaces and include it in the next council information letter.
7 Annual report and financial statements 2023 School Board Platoo
School Board PlatOO, in accordance with its bylaws, submits the 2023 annual report to the City Council for consultation. Neither the annual report nor the financial statements raise any questions.
College Decision:
- To take note of the 2023 annual report of school board PlatOO;
- To inform the City Council of this through the next Council Information Letter.
8 KPI report and improvement plan archive and information management 2023-2024
Annually, the college informs the council about archive management. In addition, the improvement plan and KPI report are sent to the province within the framework of interadministrative supervision (IBT). Based on the report, the province gives an assessment of archive and information management on a three-point scale: complies/satisfies partially/satisfies not. The improvement actions include establishing frameworks and guidelines for information management and that attention should be paid to sustainable accessibility.
College Decision:
- To adopt the archival and information management improvement plan 2023-2024 and the KPI report;
- To inform the City Council of the 2023-2024 improvement plan and KPI report through a RIB;
- To send the archival and information management improvement plan 2023-2024 and KPI report to Gedeputeerde Staten van Noord-Brabant;
- Adopt RMA policy and sustainability policy;
- I-navigator containing the information management plan to be adopted as core records.
9 One-time investment grant to make HOI house more sustainable
The Hobby, Meeting and Information Center Foundation, located at the Taylorstraat 1A in Son has applied for a financial allowance to make the HOI house more sustainable. The contribution amounts to 1/3 of the investment to make the accommodation rented by the foundation more sustainable in order to reduce energy consumption. The foundation has already received a commitment from Rabobank to invest 1/3 of the investment. For the other 2/3 of this investment, the foundation's own funds and the requested contribution from the municipality will be taken into account.
College Decision:
- To provide a one-time investment grant to the HOi House Foundation to realize a total investment for HOi House sustainability;
- pay this amount from the sustainability reserve;
- To inform the City Council with a RIB.
10 May Circular 2024
The May circular letter was published on May 27 and the financial consequences are detailed in this memo. With this memo we inform the council about the financial consequences and how they will be incorporated into the multi-year budget 2025-2028. The consequences for 2024 will be included in the second administrative report 2024.
The college decides to take note of the memo May Circular 2024 and offer it to the council as an appendix to the framework memorandum 2025-2028.
11 Additional written questions grant SBV
On behalf of the VOOR U! group, additional written questions regarding the SonenBreugelVerbindt grant were submitted on May 22, 2024.
The college decides to adopt the (draft) answers to the received additional written questions of the FOR U! group about the subsidy SonenBreugelVerbindt and present them to FOR U! and the entire city council.
12 Update Charging Plan
A charging plan was initiated in September 2023. The charging plan should ensure the strengthening of the implementation and realization of public charging stations. It was previously indicated that a charging plan was expected to be presented to the council in early 2024. We would like to provide the council with an update on the status of the plan.
The college decides to inform the city council of the status of the charging plan by means of a council information letter.
13 Memorandum on Mantel Care Policy
The support of informal caregivers is a legal assignment under the Social Support Act (Wmo). The Administrative Agreement "Working together in for with Son en Breugel" (2022-2026) includes (among other things) that the informal care policy will be updated. In short, the council's assignment is to formulate proposals aimed at the continuation and, where necessary, adjustment of the informal care policy. Specifically, the deployment of the Mantelzorgmakelaar (informal care broker), optimizing the digital platform, maintaining the signaling consultation with chain partners, the improvement of substitute (respiteHealth and the continuation of the Mantelzorgcafé (informal care café). The Memorandum Mantelzorgbeleid provides for this update and contains proposals for continuation and adjustment of the policy around the support of informal caregivers in our municipality.
The college decides to forward the Note on Mantel Care Policy 2024 to the Social Domain Advisory Council.
