5. Information Session on the Loan Application for the F58 Tilburg-Laarbeek Bicycle Route
On January 27, 2026, the municipal executive approved the addition of an Addendum to the F58 Wilhelminakanaal Administrative Agreement (BOK) for the construction of the F58 through-cycle route. The Addendum focuses on opportunities for connectivity within the planning area of the Terraweg intersection at Verlengde Huizingalaan and Ekkersrijt. In addition to the construction of the F58 through-cycle route, an Ecological Corridor (EVZ) and an eastern access point for Terraweg will also be constructed. A credit request was submitted to the council for the construction of the F58 through-cycle route. The funding request was discussed on February 12 and adopted as a routine matter on March 5, 2026. The Mayor and Aldermen have been asked to explain the decision outlined in the Addendum to the City Council during an informational session before the 2026 summer recess.
