1. Adoption of non-public and public decision list b&w meeting dated September 8, 2020 / Hans Gaillard

The college adopts the decisions.

2. Opinions continued meeting Land Area Committee Sept. 7, 2020 / Hans Gaillard

On September 7, the Territory Affairs Committee met (continuation of the August 31 meeting). The college is informed of the opinions given by this committee.

The college takes note of the opinions and commitments of the September 7, 2020 Territory Affairs Committee.

3. Future of RHCe / Hans Gaillard

The Regionaal Historisch Centrum Eindhoven sent a draft letter to the councils of the member municipalities on June 25, 2020. They propose to continue the tasks unchanged. In addition, they propose to intensify advice to the municipalities and work more closely with sister institutions.

College Decision:

  1. To take note of the contents of the draft letter;
  2. To propose to the council to submit a view.

4. Request in principle for housing on Keske unnumbered / John Frenken

A request in principle has been received from PM+ Bouwadvies B.V. for the construction of two dwellings on the Keske ongenummerd, between Keske 1 and Van den Elsenstraat 30. The location lies within the core edge zone Keske and can be considered for housing within this zone. Under Requirements regarding environmental aspects and urban development, cooperation can be granted to a zoning plan revision for this plan.

College Decision:

  1. Decides to cooperate in principle and under Requirements with the construction of two homes on the Keske unnumbered plot, located between Keske 1 and Van den Elsenstraat 30;
  2. Requests the initiator to elaborate the plan in a (draft) zoning plan on this basis;
  3. enter into an antecedent agreement to be drawn up with the promoter for this purpose.

5. Purchase of property / Jan Boersma

The municipality has purchased the property Tower Street 3. The possible purchase was discussed in the June 9, 2020 college meeting, following which the municipality commissioned a real estate agent to work things out. This has resulted in an agreement with the heirs of the deceased owner of the property.

College Decision:

  1. To provide the financial resources to purchase the Tower Street 3 property;
  2. deduct this purchase price from the amount of 2 million euros made available - in accordance with the Land Policy Memorandum - for strategic purchases;
  3. To capitalize the costs associated with this acquisition as preparation costs for the Center Son project and to include them in the land exploitation which, as implementation of the council decision dated December 21, 2017, will be submitted for adoption.

6. Accession of Veldhoven municipality to purchasing cooperation 'A 10 for youth' / Paul van Liempd

The municipality of Son and Breugel participates in the purchasing cooperation 'A 10 for youth'. The municipality of Veldhoven has indicated that it would like to join this purchasing cooperation. The substantive vision of the purchasing cooperation matches the vision of Veldhoven municipality. By joining, the purchasing organization will become stronger both quantitatively and qualitatively.

College Decision:

  1. To agree to the accession of the municipality of Veldhoven to the network cooperation "A 10 for Youth," effective January 1, 2021;
  2. Agree to the principles for incorporating the financial implications of this into the 2021 regional budget;
  3. Inform the City Council by including proposed text in the next Council Information Letter.

7. Civil Affairs Committee questions dated September 1, 2020 on education housing / Jos de Bruin

The college agrees to answer some outstanding questions from the Civic Affairs Committee regarding educational housing.
