7. Tender Project replacement Dommelpas bridge with bike path.

An inspection of the bicycle bridge over the Dommelpas revealed concrete deterioration. The condition is such that replacement is necessary. A tender process has been initiated for this purpose. This includes the demolition of the current structure and the installation of a new bridge, as well as the replacement of the adjacent bike path from the deer enclosure to the first intersection near the “BuitensteBinnen” elementary school at Doormanlaan 1. The new bridge will meet the municipality’s modern climate and circularity objectives. The project has a maximum duration of 90 working days. Depending primarily on weather conditions, a duration of approximately 4 to 6 months should be anticipated (
). The work must be carried out outside the breeding season (March 1 to July 15) to prevent further ecological disruption.

The college decides to adopt the procurement strategy.
