1. Internal (non-public) list of decisions and public list of decisions dated September 5, 2023 - Suzanne Otters-Bruijnen 

The college adopts the decision lists.

2. Decision on objection request Open Government Act - Suzanne Otters-Bruijnen

On May 11, 2023, the council made a decision on a request under the Open Government Act (Woo). On June 7, 2023, the council received an objection from the objector against the above decision. The objections committee recommends that the objection be declared unfounded and that the contested decision be upheld.

College Decision:

  1. Declare the objection unfounded;
  2. uphold the contested decision;
  3. Refer to the opinion of the Objections Committee for the reasons for the decision.

3. KCA depot Recycling center - Jan Boersma

On June 13, 2023, Blink informed the municipality that the existing KCA depot did not pass the recent inspection. A number of issues were identified that need to be rectified. During the summer, we investigated two options with Blink and an external party. Replacing the current KCA depot is the best solution. The municipal executive will inform the municipal council about this.

The council decides to inform the municipal council about the replacement of the KCA depot via the council information letter.


4. Eindhoven Urban Area Covenant 2023 - Suzanne Otters-Bruijnen

The Eindhoven Urban Area 2023 Covenant is an updated version of the current covenant. The update follows the approval of the (new) SGE 2023 Cooperation Agenda by the nine municipal councils in the urban area. The SGE Administrative Platform has asked the councils of the nine participating municipalities to adopt the covenant as an elaboration of the cooperation agenda.

College Decision:

  • to adopt the Eindhoven Urban Area 2023 Covenant;
  • to release the Eindhoven Urban Area 2023 covenant for signing by the mayor in the Administrative Platform.

5. Adoption of zoning plan for Hendrik Veenemanstraat 27a - Jelle de Jong 

Your council has approved the draft zoning plan to enable residential construction at Hendrik Veenemanstraat 27a. The draft zoning plan was available for inspection from June 29 to August 9 for comments. After the consultation period ended, three opinions were received on the draft zoning plan, which were therefore deemed inadmissible. A few minor changes to the illustration and the plan rules have been proposed. To complete this process, the zoning plan "Son Midden; Hendrik Veenemanstraat 27a" can be submitted to the council for adoption after a few minor changes.

College Decision:

  • to propose to the council that the zoning plan "Son Midden; Hendrik Veenemanstraat 27a" with plan identification "NL.IMRO.0848.BP305SONMIDDEN-VA01" be amended and made available digitally;
  • to propose to the council that, pursuant to Article 6.12 of the Spatial Planning Act, it decide not to adopt an exploitation plan for the zoning plan "Son Midden; Hendrik Veenemanstraat 27a."

6. One-time start-up subsidy for Repair Café - Steven Grevink

At the request of the Senior Citizens' Council, the PVGE, the KBO, Son branch, the KBO, Breugel branch, and the HOihuis have worked together to establish a Repair Café Son and Breugel. To set this up, investments will need to be made in mobile toolboxes, light boxes above the work tables, and an isolation transformer. The total cost for this is estimated at €1,500. The board of the HOiHuis is requesting a one-time start-up subsidy of €1,500 for the establishment.

College Decision:

  • to establish a one-off subsidy scheme for the HOi-huis for the establishment of a Repair Café Son en Breugel;
  • to grant the HOi-huis board a one-off subsidy of €1,500 in the year 2023.
